Athletico Physical Therapy - Ellettsville

My daughter has had therapy at Athletico since September after she broke her elbow. Amazing therapists in Elysia, Cyrilla and Owen - we have worked with all 3. Great facility - convenient location. I would highly recommend this place for any kind of physical therapy!

I am beyond grateful for the team at Athletico in Ellettsville! For 2 years, I’ve had off and on pain in my foot/hip which significantly reduced my daily life/ability to exercise. I was beginning to think this pain was going to be my new norm when my ortho MD suggested Athletico. Elysia was my primary physical therapist and she helped me understand what was causing my pain. She kept telling me I would improve, even when I was skeptical! 😂 Not only is Elysia an incredibly qualified DPT and certified to perform hands on techniques for healing, but she also is so welcoming, kind, and positive. I am now back to a normal I never thought I would have again and feel that she has given me such a gift of improved quality of life. Though Elysia was my primary therapist, I also had the pleasure of working Cirilla, another incredibly qualified DPT who is just as warm and welcoming. It didn’t feel like “work” going to PT because the convos flowed well, the vibe was fun, and it was enjoyable. All of the staff are so kind and knowledgeable. It is obvious they genuinely care about their patients. If you are looking for a more 1:1 approach where qualified staff can be there to provide hands on treatment and work with you to ensure correct technique, I 100% recommend Athletico! Received excellent care here after both of my knee replacement surgeries. Therapists, staff, and facilities are outstanding. Couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend it.

Elicia and the team were all fantastic at every one of my physical therapy appointments. They had me do different things every appointment and it was truly tailored to me. They get my highest recommendation.

I’ve had several issues in the past few years that required physical therapy, and of the two places I have worked with, Athletico is head and shoulders above! They provide individualized care that goes over and above what is expected. The staff is courteous and helpful, and very flexible with scheduling. I’ve mostly worked with Elysia, and I can’t say enough about her level of care. She is knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I highly recommend!

Dr. Elysia Tieman is the most beautiful, professional, kind, friendly, honest, thoughtful, thorough, authentic (not necessarily in this order) encouraging Physical Therapist I have ever encountered. I am so grateful to have met her. She will not allow you to get down on yourself. She encourages and congratulates you in every session. I recommend her to “everyone.” You will not be disappointed. I had total knee replacement and could not foresee me getting to 115 Range of Motion, but I did. I graduated from Physical Therapy last week! Thank you Dr. Elysia and your awesome staff! “You Rock!💜. This having been my first time of having physical therapy, I did not know what to expect. When I walked in, I met with Elysia Tieman for my evaluation; she was so professional, knowledgeable and caring. Once my sessions started, this place was not just a place to get physical therapy; it was a place to share experiences, to be praised for the times you were able to complete your exercises, encouragement if you were a little shy of completing them on a particular day......and the staff...all of them....became more family than just therapists trying to help you. I have now been going for several months due to a work related injury; I will soon be leaving them for a while as I will be having surgery; I am going to miss all of them so much...I know I will be going back after my recovery period. There is so much more I would like to say about Elysia and the other staff members of this particular location of Athletico, but I will close by saying THANK YOU for your patience and caring, for the times we have shared stories and laughter, the times of trying to decide which music we wanted to hear...and most of all for helping me to begin my healing process. You are awesome!!!
