Athletico Physical Therapy - Des Plaines

I was encouraged by my doctor to have physical therapy for my arthritis. I originally thought I could just have an exercise program at home but decided to give Athletico in Des Plaines a try and I'm so happy that I did! Melissa was absolutely wonderful in helping me realize what would help my extensive knee pain. She educated me in what exercise can do for my knees which to my surprise greatly helped with my balance. She also provided therapy for the knee joints which freed up the kneecaps and expanded my range of motion. My knees haven't felt this good in years! I can't thank Melissa and the entire team there enough and strongly encourage anyone needing help to try them.

The entire Des Plaines Athletico team is professional, fun, encouraging and helpful. Special shout outs to Nialah, Melissa and Lauren who were particularly helpful in my recovery (even if they DID make me work for it!) The facility is quite nice and the support and education that comes along with each PT session is above and beyond. Thanks to all!

Michelle and the entire staff at Athletico are truly amazing. I had to go through two surgeries in 10 months and they made me feel supported and encouraged me through every step from pre surgery to graduation. Even with a reinjury in the the middle they made me feel heard and helped with all the obstacles making the process less stressful and scary. I would not be back to 100% without the staff of this clinic. They make you feel like family.

Lauren is a great PT. She is understanding, knowledgeable and helpful. I was significantly better after my therapy. The staff at the Des Plaines Athletico were all very friendly and the facility was clean and inviting. I'm very happy I was referred there.

Mariol and the entire team at this Athletico are nothing short of miracle workers. I can walk without a cane. Do a flight of stairs. I am increasing my steps every day. They are also very encouraging . Mar actually made rehab fun! Well done Mar.

Great improvement in my physical condition! Very professional team. Mel is very motivating and always put me through a great workout that ended up diminishing my aches and pains. I am so much stronger! She really knows her stuff and what works best. Highly recommend.

Great staff, very kind, courteous and informative . Mariola worked with me for my knee and it's back to normal from limping from my 1st session. She is great. I now will be going to her for my back. The young lady at the front desk Niaiah, makes you feel very welcome. She explains things and works with you on scheduling appointments. She has a beautiful smile and is very kind. They make you feel like family!! Their customer service is at 100%.

I would recommend AthletiCo physical therapy for any rehab that you need after surgery. The place was clean the staff, are very friendly and welcoming Mel my physical therapist walked me through the steps of my recovery process the exercises and the muscles I would be working on and using. They make your recovery process easy and less stressful.
