Athletico Physical Therapy - Chesterfield, MI

I went to Athletico for the first time this year to help treat my bilateral plantar fascitis. Jason was amazing and helped me so much. He is very knowledgeable in the different treatments available and helped me navigate my medical care. I highly recommend Athletico in Chesterfield off of Gratiot. All of the staff was amazing as well.

Over a time period of two months, my wifes experience at Athletico was transformative. The staff provided personalized care that improved her mobility and overall well being. Jason and his teams expertise made each session productive and delivered a positive supportive environment.

I had a wonderful experience at Athletico in Chesterfield. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, especially Brittany my physical therapist. If you’re looking for therapy in the Chesterfield area, I highly recommend Athletico!!

The entire staff of Athletico (Chesterfield) was amazing to say the least! I started therapy on my knee injury in December and was nervous that I’d ever be able to get back to work as a Public Safety Officer and perform my job duties as well as before but within weeks they were building my flexibility, strength and most importantly, my Confidence back up . The staff was very accommodating with my schedule and would easily reschedule an appointment if something came up. Truthfully, the staff became more like family and got me back to work ahead of schedule. You guys got me running again and I cannot thank you enough from the bottom of my heart. Thank you again Jason, Kellin, Lauren and Angelina…….you guys are the best!!

Positives: - Lady running the front desk is amazing. She taught me a ton about insurance and was always super friendly. - Other Physical therapists were friendly and good to work with that were not my main physical therapist. Negatives: - My main physical therapist was hard to work with. She wasn’t that approachable and never felt comfortable around her. - She was always trying to help everyone in the facility even if they were not her patients. This made me feel ignored. - I told her my pain was increasing and she wouldn’t listen or change my stretches. She said it was just soreness but clearly she was wrong as the pain she caused still causes me issues today. I honestly wish I never went to her since my pain is worst from PT. - After one of my last sessions I asked if I could have heat and she said you have a heat pad at home just use that. It seemed like she just didn’t want to help me. Also this seemed super unprofessional. Maybe I would have had bad luck with my issue at other physical therapy places but wish I was treated better by my main physical therapist. I would not recommend this location or Macomb location (where my PT was from subbing in from).

Worked with Athletico after my recent rotator cuff repair. Jason and team are great to work with! Treated like family and more than willing to explain the science behind the treatment. Definitely would recommend to family and friends.

The whole staff at Athletico was very friendly and professional. The facility is kept very clean. Lauren is a very kind ,helpful receptionist. Text to remind you of next day therapy was very helpful. My therapist, Jason , was referred by my Surgeon. He was open & honest about what our goals were and what to expect. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough with my personal needs. I would definitely return here if ever needed.

I had physical therapy at the 23 mile and Gratiot facility. Lauren was at the front desk and she was so polite, professional, and kind. Jason was my therapist and I would highly recommend him. Everyone there couldn't have been nicer and the therapy worked. I'm pain free thanks to the staff at Athletico!!!
