Athletico Physical Therapy - Chandler Heights

Very impressed with my Therapy at this Athletico clinic! It’s a fun yet professional environment and everyone seems to work very well together and I love that! I was seen for lower back and hip pain which has been an ongoing problem for me for a long time now. Finally I decided to do something about it and this Athletico location was recommended to me from a friend. I was scheduled with Justin Gooder and he has been an absolute gem. I always leave feeling better and better and now have the knowledge of appropriate stretches and exercises I need to continue my recovery. Thank you so much Justin and everyone at Atletico!

From the time of my evaluation to my discharge - about 8 weeks - I had an excellent experience at Athletico Physical Therapy. I was just looking for a PT location close to home when I found Athletico, Chandler Heights & I'm very glad I did. Justin was my therapist and he was great from the get go. He was patient, he listened and asked questions, trying to understand what the problem was, even when I could not really articulate what was going on. Luckily, he is also very good at reading the the expressions on your face as you work through your stretches and exercises, which helps him identify where the pain is coming from. I also really appreciated the dedicated time each patient was allocated with their PT, that was very different than what I had experienced in other (not Athletico) facilities. With Justin, I always felt like he was paying attention to my progress, even when he was with another client. I would highly recommend this location of Athletico Physical Therapy if you need help, everyone I dealt with was top notch!

Justin and Mike are amazing physical therapists. After my husband’s knee replacement they helped him gain more mobility than before the surgery. Walking for him is now pain free. Everyone in the office, including the receptionist and the assistants, makes his appointments productive and enjoyable. A month ago I was diagnosed with a second frozen shoulder. I immediately started therapy with Justin and felt less pain right away. He shared exercises I can easily do at home on the days I don’t see him. It took four months for my last frozen shoulder to get to the level I reached with Justin in just a month. My husband and I highly recommend Justin, Mike and their friendly staff at Athletico at Gilbert Road and Chandler Heights.

Justin is the best PT! I suffered with frozen shoulder for about 7 months before I went to Athletico. I had already gone through physical therapy at another location, but my condition did not improve. With Justin's care and expertise, I was able to recover, gain my mobility back, and was no longer in severe pain. Justin taught me exercises and stretches to do during my sessions, but to also continue with at home. It has been a little over a year now since my symptoms first started, and I am doing SO much better! I'm so thankful for Justin's genuine interest in wanting to help me heal.

I had been struggling with hip pain for several years, and my orthopedist gave me little hope that a non-surgical intervention would bring results. I was skeptical as well, as previous therapy attempts were unsuccessful. Justin Gooder was my assigned PT, and his work was truly fantastic! He would take detailed feedback at the beginning of every session and tailor the exercise series to maximize results without making injury and inflammation worse. After about 10 sessions, we achieved what seemed impossible. I was pain-free for the first time in years and back to my favorite sport, endurance cycling! I was able to complete an event of over 180 miles, and the results have been sustained for almost a year now. Thank you, Justin!!!

Great physical therapy and close to home. Mike was wonderful working with my shoulder and my foot, gave great suggestions for exercises to do at home as well. All the staff was friendly and called everyone by name every time. I felt very comfortable and cared for there, very clean set up. I will definitely use in the future if I need PT again. Very pleased.
