Wow where to begin come in and can’t breath holding my right chest. Get forced into an ambulance at an Astera clinic when I wanted to drive myself. Get to wadena when I wanted to go to Alexandria they have multiple tests ran for thousands of dollars. Even after telling them multiple times I can’t breathe. Finally the only nurse who listened tells the rest of the staff to take an xray ($322 cheap) and we find out my right lung was collapsed. Get put under they installed a tube. When I came to I asked to go home. I told them I couldn’t afford to stay without health insurance. They told me no for two days I couldn’t leave. So on the third morning I couldn’t sit any longer and walked outside and finally they realized I’m not messing around send me home. Well I finally get my bill and question the bill no one can change the bill and they have the audacity to tell me I could have left by signing a form. Well sorry you guys never offered a form and wouldn’t let me leave and never told me any test you ran. Yet tell me I could have denied the tests. Sorry when some one says they can’t breath and their right chest hurts listen to them and take an xray don’t run thousands of dollars in heart test When I was perfectly fine and said I couldn’t breath. Absolutely inappropriate training and lieing to patients just to make more money it’s truly sad. Yet no one will change the bill and accept the facts that they have lied every way possible. Absolutely disgusting way to run a hospital. Thanks to the hospital I have a massive bill to pay and no one I mean no one wants to talk about it and take responsibility for the lies and misinformation. Even the nurses said they have to learn some how.

This is the most terrible ER around you should never wait 4 1/2 hours to be seen at all and the nurses are just rude none caring about patients I wish there was a better option in the wadena area .the dr on was a lady and wasn’t very nice nor listened to what we were saying

All Staff was Pleasant respectful and informative. Listened to our concerns. We recomend anyone needs er if can go ready care...

My mom loves this hospital... she was RN back in the day...at the old historical hospital across the street

Emergency room all they do is talk and gossip, they take vitals to leave the room and come back 20-30 minutes later to take the cuff off, terrible staff and workers all they do is talk never let you know what’s going on. Workers having inappropriate conversations behind the desk yelling laughing and hollering when patients in next room, the lack of common sense and awareness is shocking. Train ur staff better or something sad if I have a medical emergency it’s closer but I’d rather risk it an go to staples because the staff is terrible.

Was in the ER with severe abdominal pain. I'm in so much pain I can't function lab tests show increased eosinophils, low co2 because I'm in so much pain I'm hyperventilating. My glucose is high and you found a 8mm cyst in my kidney. What does this hospital do. Send me home saying everything is normal. Meanwhile I'm still in tears from pain. I am going to staples maybe I will actually get some medical care their. Its obvious this hospital doesnt care about its patients. Bad enoughthey sent my daughter home and 2 hours she was on a helicopter for Minneapolis. Now this. Pathetic. Dr. O I liked him before now. He didn't even bother to come back and tell me himself just had a nurse check me out and tell me everything is normal. He tells me I'll find out what's causing the pain. Than can't even come tell me himself.

They are attentive, knowledgeable, and above all... Quick !

Went to er with husband 1/3/23 with chest pains... the Dr was so rude to us. He stated if u are doctoring at lakewood why did come here. I said well we live 2 blocks away and weather is bad. Then he ran test but no one came in and checked on us for over 2 hrs then lab tech comes in says she has to redo his blood work doesn't know why and then doing chest xray. And again no one came to chat with us or anything. The Dr was not professional at all. This er I swear has the worst doctors. Doctors are supposed to help people no matter where they doctor at or anything. Supposed to be professional and treat patients with respect despite if they jad an issuse with patient in past..
