My friend that I take care of was at this facility for rehab. They did nothing so had her moved to Encompass Rehab in Altamonte Springs. When she was moved to this facility, her clothes were not sent with her. Where is the common sense of these people. Now I can't even locate her clothing. Guess someone there has some nice clothes. This is disturbing and unacceptable.

My mother stayed at Aspire for several weeks for rehab. I cannot say enough about he care she received! Thank you to Helga, JoJo who are always around to make sure your care and needs are met. The caregivers are all so kind, caring, too many names to mention, but especially Yolanda who first took care of mom. Let me say that this team goes beyond, and made me and my family sleep better at night knowing she was in very good hands! This is rare in rehabs, I wish the Assisted Living facility she returned to in Lake Mary was as dependable in their care. Lori:)

My adopted mother was sent here after she broke her leg. The nurses don't care and are never anywhere to be found when needed. The techs are so busy chatting with each other that they don't pay attention to the patients (except one, and I wish I had gotten her name). My mother ended up with an ulcer on her backside and pneumonia because they wouldn't get her out of bed. Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy don't talk to each other and don't do their job - they don't even seem to try. Wound Care only comes once a week, on Fridays, even if the patient has a new wound that needs treatment. The food is disgusting - old, dry meat and overcooked vegetables. They refuse to give her coffee at any time other than breakfast, and keep bringing her lemonade, even when she says she hates it. The only person I found that seemed to care one little bit was one tech, the one who discovered the sore on her. The Nurse Practitioner was OK, but he came to the room in a filthy shirt, which he should have changed. Never saw a doctor, although they always said one made rounds. And I do believe there is only ONE Registered Nurse (at least I think she was an RN) for the entire facility to pass medications and take care of patients! No one wears name tags, so you don't know who is a housekeeper, tech, nurse, NP, or what. NEVER send ANYONE there! Unless you can stay with them 24/7 to make sure they get decent care, send them somewhere else!

My mom is currently in the facility for rehab. It is clean and well kept and SOME of the medical technicians are awesome and caring. However, the nurses are always busy and can’t be bothered to help or answer questions. When I am there in person, I find them to be snippy and short with me. My mom needed a bandage changed yesterday, and the nurse had the gall to tell me that it was changed earlier and didn’t need changing again -which was total BS as the one on her was dirty and coming loose. The food is AWFUL and they serve very small portions. I’ve had to bring in food so my mom would eat! I would not recommend this place at all!

I was at Aspire with my mom where she passed away. I have not been able to take care of myself for years so after she passed I stayed there for a few months. It was the most difficult time of my life and I could not have done it without a lot of the people there. They all work very hard but still took time to check on me and show comfort and love. Carolina is the most caring person I've ever met. I had 3 guardian angels there that showed great compassion and support, Jo Jo, Helga and Massie. They went beyond their job always were there to help and show love and support. All the administration worked effortlessly for all their residents. They were my strength and determination. All the medical staff treated the residents with care, compassion and did their absolute best. Kamika was awesome and helped me through so much with all medical issues. The nurses and aides never stopped and made me feel safe, comforted and well cared for. Some of them even made me laugh and have fun. They're were my favorites but I can't name them all. They know who they are. Katie and Jo Jo went to lengths to help me get home safely. I've been living in a bubble for years and only had my mom for a very long time so social and physical were absoleete from my life. The best things for me that unleashed the strongholds and blocks were activities, physical and occupational therapy and the hairdresser. I loved that they had a hairdresser there, it had been years. She knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel like a new woman. It was amazing. Vanessa, Shine and Carmen brought me to life again. Those 3 women give us all a connection to the real world and help us live a natural and fun life. Vanessa went to extreme lengths to work with the Catholic Church to have a memorial for my mom that meant the world to me. Shine came in every day to spread a smile and compassion, was there to help me get to church and other activities and just checked to see if there was anything I needed. Plus they went to the food truck and shopping for us. All of them did that. They created great social activities and brought us joy, laughter and opportunities to enjoy our life in a normal environment, they made us a community and brought the residents together. I loved them all. I'm forever grateful to everyone but most of all everyone that worked so hard to teach us how to embrace our limitations and work through them to be independent. Robert, Joanne and Tai were my therapists and they did so much for me. I felt reconnected to myself again and loved working on those skills. I actually looked forward to going to therapy and working with them. They were exceptional at their job while making me feel cared for and supported for all I was going through. I learned alot from Julie and Cindy and they all were so much more than therapists. They try to make each person feel whole and capable as well as loved and are very knowledgeable. I grew so much because of them and I was able to manage when I got to my new home. At first I crashed and wanted to go back , but because of my experience in Aspire and the help ftom all of them I was able to get up and work on my own. I am equipped with tools, strength, trust, social and confidence to help me get back to normal functionality as much as I can. Thank you to everyone at Aspire. Love you guys. I'm grateful to you also for giving mom and I that time together and me the opportunity to be with her through a very difficult time for her.

My husband spent almost 2 weeks in this awesome facility after a hospital stay. I want to applaud Helga, JOJO, and Uvia for the wonderful care and friendship that we both received! When I picked him up to come home, there were tears in his eyes and he said "This is a good place!"

My dad was in this facility for about 3.5 weeks! At first he wanted to go back home, but one of the care givers “JoJo” talk to him and he changed his mind. Over the past weeks he improved immensely. With all the staff and PT he has regained his strength due to hip replacement surgery. This had a major impact on him. The receptionist Alba was a superstar too!!! And Although I didn’t put everyone’s name each person that assisted him were top notch!!! Thank you aspire health Lake Mary!!!
