First impression review: I have only been in the facility one time to do paperwork in advance of having my loved one checked in for respite care. My loved one has not stayed in the facility yet but when they do, I plan to leave an update. Initial thoughts were good. The facility seemed clean visually. However, there was a funky smell in the air. I'm not sure if that is the norm or if I just came by at an unfortunate time. My first impression of the staff person working at the window where I checked in, was not the best. This person did not offer a warm greeting, didn't ask for my name or anything just did the bare minimum to let the person I was there to see know that I was there. The person I met with, however, was very helpful and friendly. I felt like my questions were answered and I was able to see a room so I had an idea of what type of room my loved one would be staying in. The room was clean as well as the adjoining bathroom. The few residents that I saw in passing seemed happy and cared for. I have high hopes for my loved one's upcoming stay.

My dad went to Ashland Place for rehab after he fractured his pelvis.We were very pleased with it. His room was nice and clean, the staff was all kind and helpful, my dad liked the doctor. The facility is well kept.

Terrible place do not send family here they will leave them soiled for hoursss to where the diapers crumble and white flakes are all over the floor like jelatin

After my grandmothers stroke we took her here she could barely walk and after a few weeks of rehabilitation she was walking again. Ashland place was a true God send and the staff are amazing and have patience out of this world. So if you have a family member in need of rehab don’t hesitate to send them here. Thanks again for giving my grandmother her freedom of walking back.

Such a helpful staff. They answered any questions I had about the Healthcare plan for my loved one. They made us feel warm and welcome. Highly recommend this place.

Jodi in admissions is absolutely great! If my dad is ever in need of anything she doesn’t hesitate to get it! I’m a few hours away so I can’t always get something to him right away. My dad likes most of his nurses. There is a few he could do without. But to have someone go above and beyond for your loved ones that they barely know like Jodi does is an absolute blessing!

My aunt loved it there. The therapy and nurses go above and beyond for your loved ones . She has regained some of her independence back and is all smiles!

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS PLACE. My mom went their for rehab. The doctor is rude with ABSOLUTELY NO beside manners. The PA was nice. The nurses are completely over loaded and management doesn't care. On any given day one nurse may have 18 to 20 patients which is completely against the law. Meanwhile management does NOTHING. The food is horrible. We had to bring in breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. My mother ended up very sick. They are completely unorganized. While the rooms for the rehab patients are spacious and clean. The long term patient rooms are filthy, smells of urine, and looks like prison cells. MANGEMENT COULD CARE LESS. They were supposed to turn my mother every 2 hours and never did it. You can hear patients screaming for help and they get ignored. Again MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE. DO NOT Send your loved ones to this place.
