What’s great about Ascent is that they will provide a thorough assessment and make sure they are providing you with the best care for your condition. You should trust the opinion of these doctors - whatever they recommend DO IT! Follow the plan. Whether they recommend stretching, dry needling, or exercises , if you follow their advice you will not be disappointed. This clinic isn’t like most therapy clinics. They care about you and will give you the best care you need. They won’t necessarily give you an easy plan, but how often is the easy plan something you actually benefit from? NEVER! I have been seeing Sean for a few months for a shoulder injury. From my first appointment he was attentive and answered any questions I had, has provided updates on my progress throughout the process, and provided genuine and quality care to help reduce my shoulder pain, and improve my shoulder strength and mobility. My experience wasn't that great. This was a couple months ago. I was told dry needling would be done in the first session and it was not. The doctor she said to come back every week and ended up telling me to do stretching instead. She also blamed my pain on BC. I was pretty frustrated and called back to cancel all those weekly sessions and I was asked to explain why and the white girl black hair and boot on her foot at the time got really mad at me and defended the Dr more. I couldn't even get out to say that I was told dry needling would be done the first session. She was saying the Dr needs time to do the consultation first... I was like ik that but when I booked on the phone another sweeter lady said it would be done in the first session. my money was wasted and I didn't want to waste my money again especially after the customer service I rcvd. The Dr was also being a smart ass entire time. I didn't get the greatest service. I can tell they respect the older clientele and not the younger. Now I went to an actual acupuncturist office instead of dry needling and rcvd great customer service and no longer have pain.

The best staff, best PTs, best care! Truly feel like I have formed a friendship with the folks there and they have completely changed my life for the better. Comprehensive care and truly give so much care and heart to each and every patient.

Hands down the BEST place for physical therapy in Columbia. My teenager was apprehensive to go at first. He has had the most fun and engaging experiences with Dr Jim Floyd and Dr Jackson Probst. They helped him overcome his injury through dry needling, exercises and in depth explanations to avoid future damage. He was also given an extensive at home plan through their helpful app and personalized videos. It’s hard to excite a teenager for much but he very much enjoyed his experience! Ascent is the answer to your physical therapy needs. You will not only benefit from their extensive knowledge but also cared for like you are part of their family.

Had a minor hamstring injury from playing Softball in lieu of my prep for World's Strongest Woman. What could have taken me out of my competition was quickly resolved by a handful of the PT's at this clinic. I could not recommend a more thorough group of physical therapists in the area. If you're an athlete or just dealing with some aches and pains, Ascent is the perfect place to go!

I can't say enough great things about Ascent Total Performance. I've seen outstanding online reviews about them and met the owners a few years ago. Several of my friends have been and raved about how great the service is. I injured my knee about a week ago and the pain didn't subside. I called Ascent and they were able to get me in quickly. From the moment I entered, the entire staff was friendly and took time to address me. The check in process was simple. My trainer was Brandon. He's been a PT for over 8 years but was a new member at Ascent. From the time we met, he made me feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the issue I was experiencing. He did a variety of tests to determine where the pain was coming from. After making a determination, he informed me about what the issue was and recommended a training routine to strengthen the area without harming it. Brandon was professional throughout the entire visit and seemed like he has been doing this his entire life. He showed me better ways that I could walk, instead of the exaggerated walk I had adopted. Brandon then asked me if I was afraid of needles. Since I wasn't, he performed a dry needling technique on the injured are to help it heal quicker and gain more mobility. It was a great experience and I barely felt the needles. From the time I contacted Ascent until now, the entire experience was outstanding. This team truly understands not only physical therapy, but customer service and empathy. I highly recommend Him, Brandon and the staff at Ascent Total Performance for all of your physical therapy needs!

My Occupational Therapist was not that great and i needed better treatment than i was receiving. So glad i came across this team. Really grateful for this team and especially Gina for helping me with my recovery. Great staff and amazing environment. Highly recommended!
