Day 6 I use a walking cane very little. The Same Day Surgery staff were so nice and caring for me and my spouse. My total knee replacement went smooth as could be also was able to meet with a student that was in training that was also in the operating room observing. I think that's great because the staff did such an awesome job glad to see they are passing the skills down to the new students. My orthopedic doctor Dr Jerry Ambrosia is such an awesome doctor I have used him two other times once with my shoulder another time with my right knee and this time my left knee he is by far my doctor. After my operation he took the time to come and talk to my wife to let her know that everything was fine and that put her at ease. Thanks again for Dr Ambrosia and his staff.

I used the Outpatient Surgery Center at Ascension St. Vincent’s St. Clair to have Cataract Surgery on both eyes by Dr. Waid Blackstone. These surgeries were 3 weeks apart. I couldn’t have asked for a better Doctor to perform my surgery. Dr. Blackstone is very caring and professional from the office to the operating room. The outpatient staff was a very caring and professional team that went above and beyond. I highly recommend Dr. Wade Blackstone and his team for cataract surgery! I also recommend the outpatient facility at St.Vincent’s St. Clair for any outpatient needs. My surgery went extremely smooth and I now have 20/20 vision!

My entire experience was amazing! The staff at Ascension St. Vincent's St. Clair, kept a smile on my face from the beginning to the end. The nurses on the 2nd floor made me feel as if I was surrounded by friends. This was very comforting right before my surgery and they even cut up with my husband. The same staff was also in attendance a week prior for my father's surgery and their energy was the same! Dr. Crawford, is an amazing doctor that takes out the time to hear you and I am forever grateful!

Everything was so pleasant, from walking in the front door and being helped by the most knowledgeable person I have ever met in a hospital setting to the many nurses and aids that genuinely seemed to want to make may surgery as pleasant as possible. Enen the anesthesiologist (all business) was smiling from time to time. The employees seem to genuinely enjoy interacting with the patients and each other. I plan on making St Vincent's my local hospital from now on even if I have to drive a little out of the way to get there. And I haven't even mentioned the dancing hot dog yet 😂 and won't.

I have undergone several same day procedures here and in every case my care was excellent. The nurses saw to my comfort especially the warm blankets. My wait time was as expected. A great facility for our area. Thanks to all the staff.

I needed to get a sleep study to find out if I have sleep apnea. I was very apprehensive about this test because I had preconceived ideas that I was going to be hooked up to a bunch of hoses and stuff. But it actually wasn't all that bad. The nurse or technician that took care of me was very pleasant and professional and made me feel at ease as soon as she greeted me. I honestly had a much better experience than I was expecting and I I give five stars across the board.

As always, the people were wonderful. However, late last night I developed an intense itch between my shoulder blades. I discovered one of the adhesive monitor pads had not been removed. It took half an hour to finally remove the pad. Early this morning I discovered the other one had not been removed, either. With forgetting something that obvious,. I wonder what else may have been forgotten. I also don't like this form trying to guess what my next word(s) will be. It was wrong every time, which added a lot of time to making my reply.
