Right after I witnessed the office manager blow her nose and not wash her hands, she walked over to me and instructed me that the office policy is that all patients must wash their hands with soap and water. This officer manager also had her hair past her waist and did not bother to put it up for hygiene. The secretary sits at her desk with absolutely no hand sanitizer on it, she stated she washes her hands so much she keeps her hand sanitizer in a drawer instead of on her desk. I could walk into the Mayo clinic and not be asked to even use sanitizer, but in Artesia NM 2 ladies insist on you using soap and water while they do whatever they please. Response to Owner’s Response: Sir or Ma’am, it is also “common medical knowledge” that a sterile environment “can significantly decrease the chances for one to get a communicable disease.” However, you do not see doctors outside of a patient’s room at a hospital scrubbing up in a sink and putting on sterile gloves. We all see them using the hand sanitizer on the wall. That is why we have standard community practices that most clinics choose to write their policies by. Not only did I not see your staff using the hand sanitizer, but I certainly did not see them physically washing their hands with soap in water. I did see them direct a woman to the bathroom to wash her hands with soap and water. This leads me to more questions. Do you have a policy to clean your bathrooms more often since you are asking your patients to wash their hands in the bathroom? However, let’s not miss the main issue. This is not about washing hands and preventing disesase. Just as the other 1 star reviewer mentioned that your staff met him at the door refusing him care when they could have let him know if he participated in the study what could happen, your staff and yourself choose to hold power unnecessarily over patients who are just trying to get better.

My therapist, Julia Wright, was personable yet professional and effective. I always felt that she saw me as a person rather than just another appointment. Artesia Physical Therapy is a great team in my recovery. I have knee surgery coming up soon and I will be truly delighted if I am paired with her again.

All employees are very friendly and helpful. The instructors are very knowledgeable in the sciences of physical therapy and oh so helpful and down to earth in instructing and helping the patients complete their routines at every visit. I left with much improvement.

So impressed with the care I received at Artesia Physical Therapy. From the moment I walked in the door to when I left, the staff members at Artesia were always so friendly. My physical therapy team was Haunz and Justin. They did a phenomenal job helping me rehab my knee after my QT ACL repair. They pushed me when I needed it but also understood when I needed lower intensity exercises. They are so knowledgeable and give outstanding patient care. Absolutely recommend utilizing their services for any rehab needs.

The therapists and staff are wonderful. There was great continuity and concern during my appointments. Lots of encouragement and practical exercises! They were very responsive to my individual needs. I made great progress. I definitely recommend Artesia Physical Therapy.

OMG! The personnel here are so knowledgeable and personable. Rene was my therapist, and at my first appointment she knew exactly what was wrong with me. I had back and hip pain for literally YEARS, and she reduced my pain considerably that first day. She gave me exercises and stretches to keep my pelvis - which misalignment had caused the problems - right where it is supposed to be. Rene gave me back my mobility and my confidence that I can do what I want to do. She is so caring and encouraging, and everyone there is pleasant and friendly. Two thumbs up!

A great place for your physical therapy needs. I went there for 6 months in 2017. The support staff is great. They are polite and do an excellent job arranging appointments, keeping the equipment clean and generally keep the place operating efficiently so that the therapists can focus on their patients. The therapists and therapy assistants are professional and knowledgeable. I felt that every treatment was effective in helping me reach my recovery goals.

I started in 2018 after an Achilles tendon put in my right knee after a fall at work. Aaren and Hannah were amazing. I was soon on my way (as best to be expected). Forward 2 years and now it is time for a new Left Hip replacement (due to the same fall). This process started in November of 2020 and to date (May 3, 2022) I still have not been released from care but I have graduated from therapy. Renee was great both physically, mentally and spiritually. Justin also kept me motivated along with several others along the way. I can proudly say I call Aaren, Hannah and Renee friend. Thanks gals.
