Dr Cohen is the BEST. I have suffered with shoulder pain for over a year. My neck doctor gave steroid injection which helped, but it continued to get worse. Couldn't sleep the pain was so bad. My 1st visit he did xray and it showed what was causing the pain. Instead of setting another appointment for a procedure, he did it right then and there. Two week follow up and most of my pain is gone. One more procedure today. Hoping for little to no pain and getting back in my kayak! Thank you Dr Cohen!! Oh and the staff is amazing as well! Kim R

I have been a long-time patient at Arizona Sports Medicine Center in Mesa, and my recent visit for treatment on my trigger finger was no exception to their outstanding care. Dr. Peterson and his team did an amazing job. From start to finish, the care I received was exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel at ease throughout the process. Dr. Peterson's expertise and dedication truly shone through, and I am thrilled with the results of my treatment. I highly recommend Arizona Sports Medicine Center for anyone in need of top-notch medical care. Five stars all the way!

I had a total knee replacement and it was the worst decision of my life. Told by Dr Sumko I would be "good to go" after 6 weeks. Severe pain after 6 weeks, begged fpr help. They did a manipulation. 1 week later still pain. Was told my hardware was perfect, My leg was killing me. Doing everything they told me to do-PT several times a week, Doing my home exercises hourly. I was told my hardware was perfect, there was nothing they could do for me and pretty much don't come back. Luckily my PCP didn't give up on me and found a massive torn labrum in my hip. Don't go here, if there's anything wrong they won't do anything about it.

My experience with all the other staff besides Dr. Rich was great. I would’ve given this 1 star if the staff weren’t so open and nice. But when I met with Dr. Rich it was not good. First off he comes in and doesn’t stop talking till he leaves. He asks to look at my leg then tells me he’s so grateful I shaved them for him. Then proceeds to ramble about how women should shave while rubbing my calf. keep in mind I am a high school student and he is aware of that. He never gives me a diagnosis only brags about how he worked as BYU’s PT and many other things that didn’t matter to me and my injury. Right after he walked out the door I was left with question “why did I come here” along with the many unanswered questions I still have about my injury most importantly what is wrong with my leg. The man is extremely arrogant and absolutely no help. The ten minutes I spent with him were a complete was a complete joke. My school trainer is more helpful than Dr. Rich. Don’t go to Dr. Rich.

The front desk staff and other assistants are all very nice, but I did not like the fact that I was called and told my MRI results were in and I had to come in to see the doctors for my plan to go forward. After coming in to the office and paying my co-pay, the doctor very quickly went over my results and said they could do nothing to help me because I didn't have a problem that could be fixed by surgery. They then asked if I had a history of arthritis (they would have known the answer if they had actually read the paperwork they had me submit before my first appointment) and that was that. It would have been nice if they could have told me over the phone that they couldn't help me, but instead it seems like they are more interested in collecting money from insurance companies than actually trying to inform a confused patient that they cannot help them.

Today, I met with Dr. Salazar, and both my significant other and I were thoroughly impressed. He communicated without talking down to us, providing clear explanations about my situation. Dr. Salazar emphasized that surgery is not a cure but can enhance my quality of life, aligning perfectly with my expectations.

Dr. Sumko, I just wanted to take this Opportunity say THANK YOU. From our first meeting until today everything has been perfect. I could not have been happier or more satisfied with every aspect of my knee replacement. Sincerely, Les Riell

I would highly recommend Dr Waslewski for anyone who is looking for a competent surgeon who will have an honest discussion of all treatment options, both surgical and non-surgical with you. Dr Waz was highly recommended and I have found him to be personable, straightforward, honest and extremely competent. I was given a clear explanation of the issues causing my pain, he explained to me what steps would be taken if we don't see success and he was straight forward about my long term prognosis. I would not hesitate to recommend my family members to him for care.
