After 2 years of being treated by Dr. Sanjay Patel, I feel that he is a very competent and skillful Doctor. However, the staff are borderline negligent. They are always at the front desk chatting with each other about personal business. The medications that are to be mailed out to the patients are ALWAYS late. Commonly 7 days and up to three weeks late. I often had to call two and three times in order to follow up on delivery status. The front office was most often a Social Club, rather than a Doctors office. If you can avoid this practice, do it. It's sad, because Dr. Patel is a great guy.

I went to this clinic after a head injury. In the first visit I was so hopeful. Dr Patel seemed to be a very compassionate, knowledgeable man. The subsequent visits over the next few months, I was seen by his wife. I live a Holistic life and avoid putting pharmaceuticals in my body, especially opioids. They were very verbally supportive of my choice and assured that they were skilled in alternative ways of helping me. However, Without being able to fill me with pharmaceuticals, it appeared they were clueless. PT for 6 weeks and trigger point injections that have not been shown in studies to be effective in treating a repeat concussion. The Clinic staff is beyond incompetent. They are neglectful, have no compassion and I believe they go to work to socialize with one another. The doctor, on my last visit advised that she was ordering acupuncture needles and would help me. They always promised to help me but to date have not. Most recently I was trapped in a blinding headache for 12 Days. I called and spoke with staff members 4 different days, leaving messages for my doctor. I asked if the needles arrived,? Can they give me an injection?anything? At this point I even asked for a miagrane pharmaceutical. NO ONE. I mean no one, no doctor, no nurse, no receptionist, no one bothered to respond to me. No one offered any advise, compassion or anything. I was completely ignored. On my 5th call they finally said, we’re going to call something in for you. This was early morning and after 12 days with a headache so bad I was vomiting. I went to the pharmacy that evening and they had called in NOTHING! I called from the pharmacy and they didn’t answer the phone. I was so upset and in so much pain I was literally shaking. I left a message letting them know just how I felt about them leaving me in this condition with no sort of care whatsoever. The next afternoon, a Friday, after still nothing at pharmacy I again called the office. I was advised that they were waiting on an email from the doctor on the dose I was to get. Really? This is now 13 days and 6 phone calls. They DO NOT care!! The next thing I know, after waiting a month to finally be able to see the doctor again, the staff called me the evening before my appointment and canceled my appointment stating they think I need to be seen by another doctor. I was fired, in my opinion because I stood up for my self and my health and let them know they should be investigated or fired. I was speechless. I’ve never, ever experienced any business that is run this way. Especially a professional medical practice. And worst of all, a PAIN specialty practice that allowed me to remain in this condition for so long. Unless you’re just looking to receive narcotics Each month and be left alone or ignored, do not go to this place!
