Renewal was not a smooth process and I don’t look forward to the next time. This office can not handle the volume, which is only going to grow with each year. Hire help if you are short-handed, please answer the phones, get a better user-friendly system /website so that we can renew smoothly. These are time-sensitive matters and our livelihood depends on it.

Terrible communication. Never answer phone calls or emails. I've had to submit my license renewal several months early and always have to cross my fingers that my license will be reviewed and renewed so i don't lose my job. As a director of rehab i've had countless experiences with both new grads trying to get their initial application approved, as well as delays with renewals even though the applications are submitted timely. They disclose that they have 60 days to review applications, but it's apparent they need more manpower to get through applications more quickly. Incredibly frustrating considering the amount of open OT/COTA positions in the valley and the scarcity of applicants. Peoples livelihood on the line and they take their sweet time.. incredibly frustrating.

Zero stars is not an option... the ABOT do not answer their phone or return calls. If they do decide to respond to an email, it will take so long for a response to even come. There is no respect from this organization for occupational therapists trying to get a state licensure. They do not realize that the constant delays, lack of communication, and miscommunication hurts the livelihoods of individuals trying to work in this state who are unable to practice before they receive their license. The amount of money lost, stress, and disappointment from this process builds up. No other state has a process this difficult.

Dropped ball on my renewal license. Cannot reach them directly. Can't understand the email address when you call license renewal submitted april due before june 10 and never received . Have to wait another month to get it. Arizona board us awful to deal with.
