I have a friend who’s relative has been placed in these facilities. The nurses have been cold, rude and indifferent to her when she asks for any assistance or even ice water for her relative. Doctors say that people go there to receive full time care. It seems like it has been very difficult to get even the basic care! Like a change or cleaning after a bm.

During my stay there I encountered some of the kindest people, and also a few of the coldest. The CNA staff was mostly great. The physical therapy department was great. A couple of nurses were very nice and a couple very dismissive and unkind. One nurse actually lied that she had done a service for me that she had not. I would not want to be there again and did not feel comfortable without a family member there to advocate for me. Went to social worker with my concerns and she was good.

Most of the nurses CNAs & others are competent and caring. Person in charge of Tv is a donkeyvoid. Has blocked Fox. TNT was available until last night 10/4. Came back from lunch in dining room only to find that FNC was frozen picture. After watching ESLN found that FNC was back. Now it drops from FNC to CW. Don’t even have clicker in my hands. Can’t go from 33 to 4 without clicking through ALL channels in between. Somehow this happens automatically? I think this is an attempt to harass. While I am unit 4 I have no mental issues. Went from Area 1 to 4 to allow my roommate & his wife to share a room. I hope management is reading. Correct TV problem

I can't say enough about Arbor Springs. Mom was admitted in late February before the COVID. The level of care is exceptional. During these trying times, they follow the CDC guidelines. Staff stays in contact with me and my sister. we have found staff very efficient. Pleasant. Kind.

My sister entered the rehab unit 9 months ago. She suffered a massive cerebral hemmorage last summer, was in hospital 3 weeks, acute rehab for 72 days...but needed further rehab so we chose Arbor Springs...we really thought she would get the therapy she needed here. BIG MISTAKE...she did get great occupational therapy and speech, but after 3 weeks because my sister couldn't walk or stand physical therapy decided to stop all pt...they decided on there own to stop. That there was no hope for her...well let me tell you, it's been 9 hard months but with the help of wonderful physical therapist from another group my sister is standing and took 10 steps yesterday...can you imagine what she would have been able to do if her pt had the patience to work with her the 2 months she was at Arbor Springs...I would not recommend this place...the nurses lack compassion...you know who actually gave her the care, the techs...they were amazing. So many other stories that happened, but will not divulge

We just put Mother in Arbor Spring on a Thursday. We were well pleased but it would have been better to enter on a Monday or Tuesday when the department has several days to process all her clothes before the weekend. Also she could have been better evaluated for her mobility issues and all this put on her chart. Weekend staff does not handle these issues.

My mother has been a patient for approximately two years at Arbor Springs Health & Rehab. My sisters and I are well pleased with the professionalism and kindness of the entire staff.

Much nicer than most Nursing homes and Rehab communities. All the staff were very friendly.
