Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes

My mother in law was there not even 5 hours and was transported to bridgeport hospital because she was not in the correct bed and fell on the floor and hit her head. If I could give no stars I would.

Whoever the younger guy was that answered the phone around 4pm on 8/20 was rude as hell. Kept interrupting me with so much attitude when i was trying to ask if someone could bring my father outside to me (since i have my dog with me). Like literally wouldnt let me finish my sentence. I had to restart three times. After all that, no one brought my dad out. I called my father directly and he said no one even came to his room to get him.

The workers and staff is very courteous and professional. They really take the time to care about the clients that live here.

I chose Apple Rehab for my recovery from my hip replacement which I had many issues with along with other health issues. From the administrator to the cleaning crew I couldn't ask for a better family for the past 4 months. Tomorrow is April 30, 2021 and thanks to this facility I am going home. The physical / occupational therapy dept is amazing. They get the job done. Nursing and CNAS are caring and compassionate. Recreation is run by two great ladies and wonderful volunteers. The food is good. The kitchen offers menu substitutions. The building is extremely clean. I recommend Shelton Lakes for yourself or family member.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my humble gratitude for everything you and your whole facility have done for me, these last few months. Having had this MS relapse sucked and scary for me, but Apple is the reason I have gotten better. My Insurance stopped a couple months ago, and I had to make a big decision. Leave or pay out of pocket. The whole PT/OT team made my decision easy. I needed to continue the daily sessions because I could not have achieved all these successes, without Apple. You should be proud of yourself because you are an excellent manager of a great team of folks. I was a bit skeptical at first, if I would ever get better, but your team assuaged all those concerns and made them disappear. Thanks to Shelton Lakes for your PT, CNA, Nurses, Recreation and Staff. Thanks again and for making my time here completely worthwhile. And keeping me sane along the way. And for assembling such a great team. Horrible!! My mother had memory issues & that staff treated her horribly because of that. Mike, the head of the place should be fired! He's arrogant & rude. I wouldn't send a dog there.

I've worked in healthcare doing maintenance and porter/custodial work for over 20yrs and I was not impressed.
