Apopka Health and Rehabilitation Center

My sister was just recently moved there. The entire staff is friendly, positive & welcoming. The facility is new, clean, bright & cheery. I talked to many of the residents & they stated how happy they are there. So far, I highly recommend it. Pictured is a semi-private room! They are designed so that you feel like you're in a private room. The physical therapy room is awesome. I was unable to take a picture of it because people were getting their therapy. My sister has been there 2 weeks now, and she is extremely happy with the facility and the entire staff.

I am writing this review for my father, who has just been released today to come home. He's been in the facility for about a month to get some much needed PT after pacemaker and then a fall that resulted in cracked ribs. Everyone there has been wonderful! Daddy got such great physical therapy and he's so much improved now. His energy and stamina are way up and I know it's a direct result of his time there. Really beautiful visually, as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility to others. Rosemarie at the front desk always has a smile for everyone and is very welcoming, Ingrid the business office manager was great, as well as Stacy the social worker... I don't know all the PT peoples names, but Daddy loved them all. Thank you for the great experience.

The staff seemed overwhelmed and often inattentive to the residents' needs. On several occasions, my loved one was sitting in soiled clothing, and it took a long time for someone to assist when called for help. The common areas were often dirty. Communication with management was frustrating as they were unresponsive to concerns raised regarding care. I also noticed a high turnover rate among the staff, which contributed to the lack of continuity in care. Overall, I felt that the environment was not safe or nurturing for my loved one. I would not recommend this nursing home to anyone seeking quality care for their family members.

AHRC is a very beautiful facility. I've had the privilege of having both my parents receive services from this facility, and they do a very fine job. The facility is very clean, so are the rooms. The staff here is very courteous and kind. Upon entry of the building the staff at the desk are very kind and exceptionally friendly. The rooms are very spacious, with a tv, recliner clean to sleep in, a desk and chair in the room. There's also a generous wardrobe closet, a night stand and a bathroom inside the room. There's also places outside and around the facility where patients and family can visit together in private, especially if there's a lot of family. Overall a great choice for a rehab facility 💯👍😊

The new director is the best. She comes out of her office and walks the halls to see that everything is going as it should! She honestly listens and cares about the patients, their families and the employees! I am so grateful for her. I hope she stays for a long time. I can already see facility improvements. Apopka Health and Rehab Center is a Beautiful, Clean Facility. They have been taking very good care of my friend. The Staff is friendly and Courteous. The only negative I have to say is they take a little longer than I like with answering the call bell when she rings for help. Other than that they are right on task. Thank you all for taking care of my friend.

I’m always pleased when I visit this establishment. I visited yesterday and again I find The employees happy and welcoming; the place was clean as usual. The staff were engaging the patients promising they would be treated with ice cream as the bingo was canceled.

The staff is very friendly. I love the place because it's clean when I come to visit my sister. It makes me very happy when I leave her I can rest well at night because I know she in good hands 🙌
