My 92 year old Mom was placed in rehab for a 21 day period, after amputation of her toes. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I would give these people a 5 star rating! Several nurses would call to let me know how she was doing and I appreciate that so much! The food was usually cold and not edible. She had to rely on food I brought or either her snacks. I had no problems with any of the staff except for one particular PT. He was rude, obnoxious and liked things his way. I was not pleased as to how my Mom was handled, under his guidance. I truly hope he doesn’t treat his other patients in the manner she was treated.

Clean facility and very friendly staff. Would recommend placing a loved one there for short term rehab or long term care.
My 97 year old mom was in rehab twice in Anniston Health and Rehab. Everyone of the staff members were great with my mom. The therapists were fantastic with her. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs to be in a nursing home or rehab. I want to thank Angela Harry and Wendy Spiering for everything y’all did. I also wanted to thank the Doctor for taking care of my mom. Even the lady at the front desk for check in was good.
This is facility has a completely unprofessional group of CNAs that are poorly mismanaged and never reprimanded by supervising staff in their poor handling of advanced senior patients. My grandmother was “cared for” by individuals who did not adhere to her detailed care notes. I would not recommend this location to anyone who cares about putting their family members in a safe, professional, and caring facility. As a former senior care volunteer, I’m deeply disappointed at this level of unprofessionalism across the staff.
The physical therapy team was excellent!! I'd give them 10 stars!! The rest of my experience was not good at all, call button requests at times went hours before someone responded. I had a supper tray that was served at 6.00 pm left in my room until nearly midnight! I asked several to remove, but their just a minute never happened. There was some very nice nurses as well that were very helpful, mostly during the day
I can not say enough good things regarding my mom’s care while she was in this facility. Everyone was very helpful and had genuine concern for her in the time she was there. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for a long term care option. It is a clean and beautiful facility.
We checked my 84 year old Mom out this past Saturday (8/26/23) and had no idea she had a severe rash and yeast infection. She is having to wear diapers currently. Once home and after having a bowl movement she began screaming in pain. This screaming lasted for the duration of our attempts to change an adult diaper for the 1st time. It was horrific. An RN came to our home that evening to do an initial assessment and after her exam, stated she was in severe pain as she had blisters; busted blisters and was extremely raw and and red. NO PATIENT/LOVED ONE SHOULD HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THIS. Had she been cleaned correctly and often, I have to assume this would not have occurred. Now we are dealing with a family member who has a severe yeast infection and who is suffering. it's been awful. If it weren't for this, she would be doing so much better.
My grandmother was sent here after her hospital stay for 21 days of rehab, she received only 1 shower being here for 2 weeks! She said they told her they didn’t have a shower at first and one sweet PCT snuck her to the shower at midnight one night. Thank you to that sweet angel! She was isolated from everyone and no one checked on her very much. We had to do window visits and she had to talk to us with the telephone only being able to see us through the window. Mind you she couldn’t walk, so if she needed anything she had to wait for someone to finally come after calling several times! We ended up taking her out of this facility and I cared for her myself! They even kept some of the clothing we sent for her to wear while here, we tried to get them back, but they couldn’t find them! And everything we sent was clearly labeled with her first and last name!! Please DO NOT send anyone here!!! Encompass Rehab in Gadsden, Alabama is by far the BEST rehab facility if you are in need of one! I would have given ZERO STARS, but it makes you give a star to post!!!
