My son has been coming here for a couple months with Michelle and I have seen such an improvement. Michelle has helped my son in different area but my main concern was that food option were very limited because he is a very picky eater. He wouldn’t want to try different foods because of textures but Michelle has helped him. Now he is willing to try. Michelle is very patients and understanding when my son is having a hard time. She also gives me tips and ideas on how we can help my son improve and meet his goals. This therapy center is always clean and always make you feel welcome. The lady in the front is so nice.

First, I would like to say that I tried really hard to work things out with the owner and we emailed back and forth. Unfortunately, the problem is being swept under the rug. My son was seen here for three sessions in June and I pulled him out as soon as I heard he was being pressured into trying foods that he had strong aversions to and eventually force fed. I trusted the therapist Michelle and had to learn the hard way. After his last session with her, he regressed in toileting and refused his safe foods all together. I do not want other families to experience what we did. It was really traumatic. Food therapy is a very sensitive thing and pressuring them to the point of meltdowns (I heard him screaming from the lobby and even the manager Jennifer was concerned and checked on him) and making them take a bite is not the way. My son is in therapy at a new clinic and they never pressure him into trying things and it is child led/play based. They also allow me to be present during sessions and actually encourage it. There is a stark difference.

It takes a special person to work with special needs children & young adults. With that being said, this place is full of those kinds of people. My nephew has been apart of this therapy group for almost 8 years & has grown to heights that were never supposed to happen! He has learned so much from them, and we recommend Emily & the Anaheim Hills pediatric therapy as much as we can. We feel safe & know that he is in amazing hands here! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!!!

My son has been going to this place for over 5 years. He is severely autistic and none verbal. Since he's been there he can request he's needs fluently. He has also improved his coordination as well. I am brought to tears and the improvement he has made, and I can't imagine where he would be without these wonderful people. Emily is a godsend, bless her.

We started with this office when Ms. Emily first opened her door in a one-room office sharing with another office back in 2015.... My son Nathaniel had Surgery to lengthen his tendency because he was a tiptoe Walker. He was walking like a hunched over old man and would Waddle . Emily took the time to teach my son how to rewalk, and use Muscles he didn't even know he had.. Since then we have watch her company grow. Adding not just PT, but OT And now Speech.. Since Nathaniel has been coming to this Clinic I have seen him grow and accomplish so much... he thanks to Emily's great PT Staff, he is able to run (not perfect but great enough for Nathaniel) he can run a whole lap around the parking lot of the builds that surroundthe office.. Nathaniel's safety has never been issuse since we have been com8ng here.. When Emily offered OT.. I was able to get Nathaniel in and is till this date working with the great OT Staff has hired.. they make sure that every child is under supervision at all time.. Now that she has hired Speech.. This is a one stop place for us. No more running from therapy to another. We can have a set schedule and just relax take out time and enjoy our selves.. Emily's Staff has always been great with us. They take Nathaniel's needs and my concerns in To consideration. Together we work on new goals for Nathaniel to reach every six months.. I could not have Accomplished everything we have with Nathaniel with out their support and care.....To Emily and all your Staff thsbk you.. and we love you all greatly... I can not single out just a few for the sole reason that they work as a group.. they are Nathaniel's second family...

This place has been such a blessing to my child and to me. My son started coming to AHPT during the start of COVID shutdowns. He couldn’t even sit up and had no good muscle control (high and low tone). He had GERD, Reflux, allergies and more. They saved my sanity. L-I-T-E-R-A-L-L-Y Fast forward to present …. over 2 years, we are here three days a week at it is our home away from home, My son is thriving in his growth. He is now walking and learning to confidently walk up and down stairs. He’s currently not in speech but lucky for us, they have two amazing speech therapists who interact and help him learn to vocalize his emotional needs. Again, while I’m stuck in an insurance approval limbo for speech services, AHPT has been there for me. Although I’m not new on the mom journey, I was new with a child who has moderate and significant developmental delays. Over the past few years, AHPT has been so supportive in our journey, That to me is deserving of 100 stars! Th best part about AHPT is that the owner is a special needs mom herself. She prides herself on giving back to the community and has started a non-profit. Check out Bug Buddies! It’s amazing to help children get socialization with other children. My son has learned so much being involved in these classes with other children. Peer play and friendship building in a therapeutic setting. My little guy wouldn’t even look at kids or interact and now he’s 50/50 there 🤣 I always say, I’ll take progress at snails speed as long as it’s progress!

This place is not safe for your children. The therapists conduct themselves in an unprofessional manner and when you raise your concerns to the supervisor, Emily, she becomes very rude and defensive and excuses the inappropriate behavior. The therapist tries to talk kids out of their need to have speech services and instead of setting new goals, asks parents to come up with goals. This is the responsibility of the therapist, and trying to shirk the responsibility back onto the parent to come up with speech goals instead of the professional who studied speech and language pathology is such an unfair and unrealistic expectation. Parents expect to bring their children and receive guidance and support from train professionals and instead are met with unprofessional and questionable therapists. Find somewhere else.

Emily the owner is very professional and helpful. We have worked with two different Occupational Therapist. Macy & Catherine are both wonderful. The receptionist is also organized and quickly responds to your scheduling needs. We love it here!
