Organized, efficient and friendly. Dr. Wickmam very professional and focused Comprehensive discussion. I felt like I was her only concern during our appointment. Didn’t feel Rushed or disrespected. Came up with a long term Treatment plan. A lot of info. Front Desk supposed to follow up. We shall see how that goes but seems Like a very professional and focused organization.
I couldn’t have been happier with my first visit, it was Dr. Wickman (not a PA) for my initial consultation and she was solicitous, engaging and seemed genuinely concerned about my issue. She provided options for my care path and her office had me scheduled for follow up imaging within 24 hours. While the start of our journey with my issue, I feel confident that she is on my side to achieve the best outcome possible.
The staff was very attentive and easy to work with. I was taken in for x-rays promptly after arriving, it was a standing X-ray machine so no laying on a cold table and the technician was very pleasant. Dr Wickman was easy to talk to and answered all my questions. I enjoyed my experience at Alta Orthopedic
By far the best Spine surgeon in SB & most likely California! Have had 4 procedures in last 5 years & she has preserved my walking ability and gait. Very compassionate but straightforward with procedure options as long as they are doable. Saved my walking ability several times over past 5 years since my issues arose Unexpectably.
I enjoyed meeting Dr Wickman and felt she understood my problem and ordered an MRI. I look forward to seeing her in 3 weeks time. I would definitely want her to be my orthopedist for any other problems i may have.
Dr. Wickman is an excellent surgeon and has a wonderful, compassionate, gracious and engaging bedside manner. She is reassuring and professional when addressing concerns and worries before, during and after surgery. She is a great resource for the West Coast and Cottage Hospital and Alta Orthopedics is fortunate to have her on staff!
Dr. Wickman is always ahead of my visit. She knows about me before I get into the office. That's proactive plus!
