Dr. Momaya is fantastic! I had knee arthroscopy a little over two weeks ago. My initial evaluation at the UAB Highlands clinic was very easy to schedule and attend. Dr. Momaya patiently listened to my symptoms and reviewed all my imaging with me. He was very honest with his evaluation and recommendations. We both agreed on arthroscopy which he did for me at UAB Highlands. The system was easy to navigate on op day. The staff was informed and well organized, and I was treated superbly. Immediate post op care was monitored very well with follow up phone calls and physical therapy. On my two week follow up visit, Dr. Momaya reviewed all the arthroscopy photos that he had taken, explaining each abnormality he had found and his approach to fix it. He is an incredible surgeon, and the surgery was very "clean" and precise - no unnecessary nonsense - which has made post op recovery very easy. I felt like I was a fully informed and respected part of the decision making process at all times which can be hard to find in healthcare these days. I would send any of my friends and family members to Dr. Momaya for treatment. Highly recommended surgeon!

Not only was i able yo get in to see Dr. Momaya quickly, but Sarah and Dr. Momaya were personable, thorough, and knowledgeable. I left with a better understanding of my injury and a list of possible non-surgical options to decrease my pain that were not offered to me by the local Orthopedic care centers.
