Amber Hill Therapy Centers

I’ve been going to Amber Hill in New Market for years, for various issues. The office is clean and spacious. The therapist’s are extremely knowledgeable and thorough. They take time to listen and are very insightful, while explaining things in a way that’s easy to understand. Lisa Phelps especially. Because of her, I’ve had several “ah-ha” moments. She’s always so helpful in figuring out new ways to do things that won’t exasperate my current issues. I can hear her in my head saying, “Be mindful of your posture”. Kyle has also been great at pushing me to complete exercises that are challenging while understanding my limitations. That way I can get stronger without overdoing it. All the staff is welcoming and helpful even when they are busy. Over the years, I’ve really gotten to know the staff. Not only are they great physical therapists, they could be my mental therapist as well because I always feel better physically and mentally by the time I leave!

I love going to physical therapy here! The team is extremely helpful and not only aids in my recovery but wants to ensure my wellbeing outside of therapy as well. Bailey, Shelby, Lisa & Kyle are great when working with me to do my exercises and I love getting to chat with them in the mornings. I definitely feel improvement from when I started therapy here.

Very good ongoing physical therapy experience for me at the New Market location after TKR. Kyle is great and does not let me slack off on the exercises. There is a steady progression from light to more challenging therapy which indicates that I am making progress and getting stronger. I know recovery is a marathon not a sprint. All the people who work there are nice. Happy this location is so close by my home.

My name is John Chaney and I'm a 72 year old spinal cord injury patient. In the past 4 months. I started coming to Amber Hill PT. My initial evaluation was done by Kelly and she made me feel so good. She listened to my goals and incorporated them into them into the aquatic sessions with Kyle the pool therapist. He was awesome and very open minded he challenged me to do my best effort in the pool to prepare me to transition me to a wellness program. I have progress in the activities I've done in the water to strengthen my core and balance. I have minimized the amounts of fall and learned to safely transition from my household activities and getting in and out of bed the car and this has helped me with my walking with assisted device walker/ loftstrands and mobility scooter. Every time I go into the center I always find every one very professional and upbeat. The techs and therapist are encouraging. Kelly, Kyle, Lisa, Keisha, Tommy, and others I want to thank you for working with me and brightening my day when I come for therapy. John C

Amber Hill PT in New Market MD is the best. Lisa and Keisha have been great to work with during my latest series of treatments. All the New Market staff is efficient and personable. Kyle worked with me over a year ago with great results too. I highly recommend this location for your PT needs.

Lisa & Kelsey were wonderful this morning! Came in a bit anxious & mentally defeated due to my injury. However, I was greeted with smiling faces and encouraging words. Comfort & encouragement is so important when you are struggling with an injury (both physically & mentally). They gave me some hope and I look forward to my next visit.

I have had the opportunity to use this location on multiple occasions. Got to know Kelly and Kyle very well. I now have seen Lisa and Tommy. This a wonderful establishment every one is so friendly.
