Seven years ago, I was diagnosed as permanently disabled due to a brain injury. Since then, I have sought help from many health practitioners, both traditional and nontraditional. I have a severe balance disorder, chronic headaches, and numerous environmental sensitivities. All this has greatly reduced my quality of life. Practitioners have offered me physical therapy, special diet, supplements, tinctures, custom formulas, drugs. None of these have offered me any relief. Until Antoine. To call him a Movement Specialist only begins to describe his unique gifts. For the first time in seven years, I feel better, walk better and my balance has improved. Antoine has put me on a true path to healing and I know that he will enable me to reclaim my life.

I was having issues with my wrist for quite some time and was not able to find the cause or a solution. Joseph was able to give me a path to follow and within a couple months of doing the exercises, the pain was gone and my wrist is back to normal!

I have know Antoine since he was a young boy. Recently, I got to work with him as a grown man and the professional he is in the profession he loves and lives. I got to see just how multifaceted multitalented he is. I experienced a man who is a counselor, a trainer, a coach, a life coach, an empath, a healer, an educator, an entrepreneur, and a visionary. He is a wholistic healer. He has a unique way of welcoming you into his world. He made me comfortable in what was a very vulnerable time in my life. He saw me through beginning a wellness journey. He is intuitive and connects with you, looks inside you, with his unique gifts and prescribes just the right movements to align the body while guiding you to adjust your mindset. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Go, take a chance, and learn about him, about his method, and about yourself all at the same time.

The Alston Center is extraordinary! Antoine is one of those rare people who is a born healer in addition to being a great physical trainer. I’m stronger at 54 than I’ve ever been-& learned here that hurting after working out is Not normal! Also, when I got sick in March and was having trouble breathing, Antoine worked with me via zoom to keep circulation and movement going in my chest-which I am certain kept me out of hospital.

Antoine Alston is a very special intuitive healer! He instinctively can evaluate one’s body mechanics and design a program, using basic principles, to align and heal imbalances and injuries. As a medical practitioner, I feel blessed to have had him work on me and to be able to send patients to him for care. The Alston Center is a magnificent place of healing. Joseph Antoine’s alignment work has given me increased mobility and strength and opened doors for continued vitality into my mid 50’s. It’s a blessing to be able to work with him.

My very active, social butterfly, hard working, father was the victim of a drunk driving accident in June of 2020. He received and continues to receive wonderful care through Gaylord Hospital in both their inpatient and now outpatient facilities. Outside of this work, I was searching for someone who would approach my father as a whole being and help heal his whole self together as a unit. I was patient and eventually lead to The Alston Center. As a functional movement healer myself, I knew after my first phone call that I had found a great place. I've worked off and on with Antione for ten years now. Our relationship began with training me to race and compete at a national level. He listened, to all my strengths and weaknesses, came up with a personalized workout structure, and together we overcame the odds to put me in contention every race. In most recent times, I have given him the challenge of a lifetime, and he met it with enthusiasm, heart, and the knowledge that only a lifetime of hands on experience gives.
