This place has been a great resource for me. The people here are extremely intelligent and very caring. After I had shoulder surgery in 2023 they have helped me to manage any bumps in the road that I have had. Dennis specifically has been a main part of why I have been able to continue to play baseball at a high level by helping me manage any issues I have with my shoulder or helping me to create a plan that best helps me. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Dennis and Dr. John while treating my herniated disc. Their expertise in ultrasound-guided prolotherapy was evident, and I felt supported throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain each step and answered all my questions, which made me feel at ease. The combination of prolotherapy and physical therapy was incredibly effective. I noticed significant improvements in my pain and mobility. The staff was professional and attentive, ensuring I received the best care possible. My biggest issue was not knowing how to schedule my workload in the sense of promoting improvement and recovery on the same program. It felt overwhelming knowing I was lacking structure on my day to day. The attention that Dr. Colon provides to his patients makes alliance the top of the top when talking sport rehabs. I felt better and better; not only I felt stronger, more stable and healthier but my body was recovering at a healthy pace from the workload. My life has improved significantly on the health spectrum and the understanding on how those workload should work, it helps me with my own career and my business.

I suffered an ACL tear which lead to several visits to Dr. Dennis. Pre and post surgery PT were required. He did a wonderful job in helping me prepare for my surgery. This helped me significantly for recovery post surgery. I felt that he truly cared and listened to my goals. I am now able to play sports like I used to before my injury. I highly recommend Dr. Dennis as he is a genuine person that will make sure you are well taken care of!

I have been to many doctors and providers in the past and I feel comfortable saying that Alliance is the best sports medicine in Lakewood Ranch or anywhere around here. They don’t just provide results, but truly care and treat you with a personal touch that isn’t normal in most places. They actually listened to me about my history of issues and determined a plan for me to relieve the constant pain I lived with. I’ve also had physical therapy at numerous other places, but Dr. Dennis and Dr. Brian are amazing. It’s NOT just ankle weights or a college student telling you how to do boring exercises, but rather they challenge you, explain things to you, and help you get back to the activities you love. I’ve also traveled to St. Pete for Platelet Rich Plasma treatment with Dr. John for a few issues, including a shoulder injury, a labral tear and an old ankle injury. The specialized treatment I received made me feel so much better. I am pain free and confident I can be more active, exercise and enjoy my life. I strongly recommend Alliance for anyone who’s dealing with pain. You will not be disappointed.
