I manage the hotel where Rachel has been staying and she noticed me wearing my brace for my golfer's elbow, and after going back and forth with her telling her about it, she actually took the time to show me how to do some exercises correctly and answered all of my questions about my condition, and in terms of the time she spent with me, it was tantamount to an actual office visit. BUT FOR FREE!!! She is quite skilled, and if you are looking for a physical therapist, you have to go see Rachel.

I have been going to Alliance Fairfax for about five months now. I will never see another physical therapist other than Josh. He is excellent, so knowledgeable, and caught things. I have been impressed with how Josh regularly makes adjustments to my therapy and changes out exercises based on how and what I am feeling. I highly recommend Alliance Physical Therapy to all! Chris and Kelly have always been lovely.

Really amazing place to go for your PT needs. I've dealt with chronic back pain for years and sought help recently. An orthopedic doctor recommended Alliance Physical Therapy and I've received nothing but the best of care. Front desk staff (Chris & Tammy) have always been lovely. I've been seen by 3 physical therapy doctors at this location: Hirat, Josh, and Rachel. Every single one is so compassionate and professional and all have aided with my pain management. Dr. Rachel Odom literally changed my life by correcting my hip alignment, which was completely out of whack. I was almost completely pain-free after one session. And, to echo what others have said, she's great about listening to you and assessing your needs. I'm now more aware of my body, posture, etc. than I ever was. I'm still going here weekly for treatment and assessment and it's a great experience each time!

Shelby is an incredible physical therapist who is both encouraging and inspiring. She manages all the ups and downs of the center with grace, good humor and tenacity. I have the mobility in both my knees that I do as a result of Shelby's hard work. Thank you Shelby!

Best physical therapists around! Josh and Rachel know their clients as well as how to implement the appropriate therapy for that particular client. Personal, therapy tailored to you and your condition. I couldn’t have asked for any better and I’ve had plenty of physical therapists to compare - after a hip replacement and a second one less than a month later (called a revision) and more surgeries over a year later due to unforeseen complications- these guys are the best in the business. If you ever need a physical therapist- Alliance with Josh and the team on Arlington Boulevard in Fairfax is THE place to go!

Best PT I've received in my life. I've seen 3-5 different PTs & Chiros for my shoulder pain and I can't say enough about the quality of care I have received from Alliance Physical Therapy. I'm a 4.5 tennis player and have been dealing with severe shoulder and elbow pains during the past several months. Been taking 600mg of Ibuprofen before going to bed because I kept on waking up from shoulder pain and arm numbness... but after a few hours, I still struggled to find a good night of sleep. I changed rackets several times, grips, ways to stretch, etc. but nothing worked. Then finally met Rachel and Magda at APT. Not sure if you've experience relief from just talking to someone who understands your pain but Rachel knew exactly how I felt and where the problem was. She squeezed several trigger points from my forearm, biceps, shoulder, neck, and back to identify the problem. She introduced me to dry needling, which at first, sounded intimidating so she took the time to explain the process thoroughly. After the first session of dry needling, I felt sore for a few days as if I had been lifting heavy weights but realized soon enough that the initial pain from the tight muscles and sensitive nerves were nearly gone. Rachel's confidence and skills were clearly validated by how my shoulder feels now and I cannot thank her enough. I've also been seeing Magda who has been performing manual therapy on the same parts of my upper body and those sessions have really changed the quality of my sleeps. I used to wake up 2-3 times at night because of this horrible pain and that is now history. All the other staff members are constantly working hard while keeping a high quality of care for their patients (shout out to Gabby). APT has redefined therapy for me. Thank you!

I have been going to Alliance Physical Therapy for over a year now for stiffness in my lower back and pain and tightness in my left hip. I see Josh (usually) once a week and over the course of the year he has been able to resolve my issues. I am thrilled. I have been impressed with how Josh regularly makes adjustments to my therapy and changes out exercises based on how and what I am feeling. The staff in general is very friendly, easygoing and yet still very professional. Physical therapy is not a 'quick-fix' by any means, but I am convinced that if you are consistent with your therapy it does work. I would go this route all night and day over taking meds with their side effects. I would recommend Alliance to anyone, but remind them to be patient and do the work. It does take time.

I just started my Physical Therapy at Alliance and I am very, very happy with the Therapy I receive from Rachel! She is awesome in every way and she goes above and beyond to make sure she is giving the best care she can and she does! When she did my intake I knew right away that I was a patient of one of the best PT companies in the NOVA area and I knew going forward with my sessions that I was in good hands with Rachel being my Physical Therapist. Her wealth and knowledge of being an experienced Therapist was something I hoped for with my recovery and now I have it! Thanks Rachel for assurring me that I am in good hands. You rock!
