Alliance Physical Therapy

I joined alliance physical therapy with a very complicated injury and this place is what brought me back to life. The staff here are incredibly, kind, understanding, intelligent, patient and so much more. I worked with Nellie, Collen and a few other helpers. They are real life angels and provided so much comfort to get me through my injury. If there is any place that can provide comfort, and healing, it has to be Alliance Physical Therapy. I am very grateful for you all.

Frustrating experience trying to get in as a new patient. My doctor sent over a referral and they spoke with her and said I should call in (insurance is listed on the referral form). I check the website and it also lists my insurance as accepted. I called and left two voicemails on their new patient lines over the course of a few weeks and I got no response. Eventually I called the normal line and got ahold of someone, who told me that they don’t accept my insurance after all. Disappointed that I wasted a bunch of time waiting for them to get back to me when I could have gone somewhere else to begin with. Please updated your website!

As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted with a welcome to Alliance Physical Therapy and checked in. I also felt the calmness and relaxation in my mind and body as I waited a few minutes for my therapy session. I liked how we reviewed my case for therapy and went over how we were going to start, understanding that we can try therapy that works for me. Made me feel comfortable, that everything the therapist did during therapy she explained in detail so I can understand how this was going to affect and help my lower back heal.I have had a wonderful start to my recovery. I have really enjoyed the rehab for my chronic back pain through the Alliance PT team and appreciate the skills and knowledge of each therapist and assisting aides I have worked with. No matter the clinician, they are always actively listening and helpful in answering my questions and addressing concerns that arise as I recover. They have helped me regain confidence in use of my body after a long journey of avoidance and fear. I always leave feeling more empowered and grateful.

They are awesome! I have had some surgeries other issues and they help me every time I would say the one that I really appreciate was helping me after my shoulder surgery so that I was able to swim from Alcatraz to San Francisco. Now, I’m hoping to do a half iron Man and they are helping me with my feet so I can start running again. I am so grateful for their support.

I first went to Alliance Physical Therapy in December of 2022. I worked with Colleen and Nelly to help with knee instability and pain. I returned in September of this year after having ACL reconstruction surgery and meniscal tear repair. I’ve been working with Colleen twice a week since my surgery and I know I would not be progressing the way I am without her superior work and dedication to getting me back on my feet. Alliance feels more like a wellness center than a PT office. It’s warm and welcoming and every staff member is kind and compassionate. They have great aides as well. As an athlete I have been to many PT offices. Alliance is by far my favorite and has given me my athletic abilities back ahead of schedule. Thank you Colleen and all the staff at Alliance.

I don’t know who’s running the front end but it’s been a nightmare trying to get in. I had to go in and ask personally on my referral they said they didn’t have it, so luckily I had my doctor print me my info and referral and approval and said let me go get it, then I was told that I’d get an email on a list of openings for future appointments and waited 3 business days and still nothing, I called and was told “oh I’m sending it right now” and 2 business days later and still nothing. I was also asked if I’d like to do the intake paperwork online or on paper and requested online, my appointment is in 15 minutes and I never received it. I have gone with them in the past and loved all the PTs and students but right now something is not clicking. I’m very disappointed and upset and hoping I can get the care I need. Wish me luck!

Howdy folks! About a year ago I was going to Dominican PT for a rear end collision injury and they were very mechanical and strictly allopathic. I was not getting the care I needed there and very few places take Medi-Cal. It was such a relief to find another place, much closer to home, that took Medi-Cal. I was in much worse pain and hard to get along with but they kindly welcomed me in and put up with me until I got back on track. Thanks to the advanced tactics and martial artistry of this team of courteous, patient, talented healers, and doing the exercises, combined with acupuncture, I have come from 2-3 hours mobility in pain to 4-6 hours very low pain, without more than a few ibuprofen a week. I still have sciatica and bursitis but I've had more good days since having the privilege of Alliance PT on my Care Team! Great with service animals. Good kind people worthy of timely arrival and planning. Parking challenging for noncompact vehicles. Do your laundry while you heal! Maybe one day I will be brave enough to try one of their yoga classes. Namaste!
