Allegra Nursing and Rehab

We just took our dad to Allegra for physical therapy so he can get stronger and come home. The staff was absolutely friendly, dedicated, spot on. His first nurse he met was Cheryl and she took care of him perfect, answered all his questions, answered all our questions and made us feel at home not like we were in the way. I have a feeling this is going to be a great experience for my dad to get stronger and be able to come home quicker due to how he is treated so well.

I would not put any relative here, unless you have time to monitor the Quality of Care they are receiving. I had to follow up multiple times for a simple test, that required antibiotics and had landed my mother in the hospital multiple times. The communication is very unprofessional and the follow up is non-existent. Every fear I had prior to putting my mom in this facility was justified during this stay. They are understaffed, there are a few GREAT employees that did everything they could. However, a few GREAT people stretched so thin is a very dangerous situation too.

I don’t even know where to start with this but Allegra Nursing and Rehab has changed my life. I spent a total of six weeks at Allegra. I needed IV antibiotics and physical therapy. This is truly the most welcoming, hard wording, goes above and beyond, kind, caring, and loving place you’ll ever find. You will not find anything better than Allegra. Jesse and Andrew in the PT and OT department go above and beyond to make sure you reach the goals you are there to reach. All of the CNAs are wonderful but special shout out to Cheryl. She really is incredible. She always makes sure your needs are met and she far exceeded my expectations every single time. She truly is the best. Jackie and Tasha are phenomenal nurses. They always make sure to have your medicine to you right on time. There’s truly just so many things I could say about Allegra. If you have a loved one that needs to go to a nursing or rehab facility, I promise you Allegra will make sure they feel welcomed, loved, safe, and taken care of. They will also make sure the family members feel the same way. Allegra will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for allowing me to come there and get my independence back. Took to the building manager and HR about the kitchen manager and his inability to operate a nursing kitchen. He has made the kitchen a hostel place to work, and I had quit do to this issue. The kitchen manager then takes to social media, making threats towards me. *has screenshots*

Wonderful, caring staff. My nephew, Aaron, was well cared for and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. A good experience for someone who needed patience and humor to help him accept his MS and give him hope for some better days ahead.

What an awful place! Please please, if you need to take your parents or loved ones to a nursing home make sure it is a place that cares about people. I have seen the inner workings of this place and I would never place my mother here! The staff are more concerned with making money and filling beds then taking care of patients. Patients are neglected, their concerns are never addressed, and the staff can be down right inhospitable to the patients. There were a few exceptions of good people that worked there. Sadly I have heard they left and rightly so. Who would want to work at such a place! There are better facilities with more caring individuals. Please place them at these other locations.

My experience at Allegra was nice, the staff was very helpful & friendly. They did the best they could to make it feel like home. They kept me informed & therapy was awesome. Food could of been better though.

Was able to visit in person with my mom for the first time since October. Went well, Amy very professional at tbe desk and was able to also speak to the nurse before my mom came down. UPDATE: when we first took my mom here it appeared good. If your loved one has memory issues this is not the place for them. They sent my mom out to a hospital with no coat, no shoes and urine soaked clothing. Not to mention there are personal items that came up missing and have not been found. There were also other issues with cleanliness of the room. At this point I would no longer give this home a 5 but more like a 1.
