Allegra Family Clinic and Urgent Care

This was my first visit here and I've never been treated with more kindness and respect than the way I was treated at Allegra. Mrs. Capps the nurse at the front desk, discerned immediately that I wasn't well and I tried to hide this. She came to check on me 3 times in the waiting room, and went out her way to assist me with signing in. The entire staff including the doctor had an excellent bedside manner. This place has a home feel to it. ( I was surprised by this.) I would recommend this staff and facility to anyone.

10/10. They are attentive, always answer the phone, any problems I have had they taken care of for me every time. Caitlyn is wonderful. The nurses have great bedside manner. Front desk is always pleasant. Very thankful for Allegra.

The entire staff is very friendly and genuinely cares about your health. The NPs are very understanding and take the time to listen to listen and do what they can to better help you.

My first time in since new ownership, I am pleased to say the previous friendliness and care seems to have carried over to new ownership. I just went in for check up and referral for dermatologist. I'd recommend!

If you are military, you already know how difficult it is to find a place that will accept TRICARE. When this facility was still under Dr. Coppock, it was a place that my wife and I could go to and know that we would not have to worry about anything. Unfortunately, since it has been taken over by Dr. Peramsetty and his staff, it is sad to say that this clinic is not, nor will be, the same. The staff is surly and the evaluations and treatment are far from adequate. On multiple occasions, I have requested to continue a form of treatment that I had previously been on, but the staff has been unsuccessful in coordinating with other doctors, but by unsuccessful I mean that they have not done anything. Any coordination that they are supposed to do, I have had to take it upon myself. They have continuously failed to submit referrals to other practitioners for procedures that they (Allegra) have informed that I need. They do not understand the TRICARE system at all, although they accept the insurance. Instead of sending the referral to TRICARE they send the referral to the practitioner and then the practitioner informs me that I cannot be seen until TRICARE issues the referral. I have explained this to Dr. Peramsetty’s staff and the issue still exists. In the past four days I have contacted the clinic four different times, through their secure messaging service and by phone, to ask them to send the doctor’s orders for my prescription renewal to my pharmacy, and each time I ask them to do it, they tell me that it has already been done. When I tell them that the pharmacy has not received the orders, the response is still the same — they sent the orders and “just don’t know what to say”. They either do not care or do not know how to follow up to ensure the process is complete. It was not long after they took over Allegra that my wife and I started experiencing problems with the new management. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to stay; hindsight being what it is, we should have left the moment we sensed trouble. Things finally came to the boiling point when I was spoken down to, had my integrity questioned, and had the door blocked when I stated I no longer wanted to receive treatment. If you are looking for a clinic that accepts TRICARE, or one that will actually listen to your needs, instead of telling you what they need you to do for them, keep looking. There are clinics out there that will give you the help and care you need. Unfortunately, those principles were lost the moment Dr. Peramsetty and his staff took over the clinic.

Every time I went they never sent my prescription in. I called for three weeks straight several days a week and left voicemails trying to get my prescription filled. They never called back. This happened several times. One day I went all the doctors quit in one day. They didn’t call patients to tell us the doctor had left. When I arrived at my appointment there was a completely new doctor. Save yourself time do not go here

Amazing staff! I made an excellent choice in choosing Allegra Health. The portal/ messaging system is very beneficial! I’ve never had to call and follow up on labs or referrals! My referrals have never taken over a week to schedule! My visits are quick but beneficial. The providers ALWAYS listen, I don’t feel rushed and they execute a plan of action to benefit my needs! I appreciate the excellent patient care they have provided thus far!

I was very satisfied with my visit. The front desk was extremely helpful and very professional. The doctors listened and responded to my ailments and treated me with dignity and compassion. Medication was called in immediately and I am feeling much better after the first 24 hours. Much thanks to the doctors and staff at Allegra Family Clinic.
