Mark has done an amazing job training me so that my back no longer has pain. Its a different approach that required posture training of your body. I was amazed how good he was at evaluate, treat, and as a result most of my pain is gone. There is no medications needed or required for this treatment. I highly recommend him.

Beyond excellent. If you’ve tried everything and still have chronic back and hip pain, there’s still hope. I had a year of chronic pain from too many surgeries, too much tennis and lots of PTs and chiropractors. Lisa cracked the code and untangled me. I went from barely walking 2 miles to playing tennis again in abt 3 weeks. I had some success w other PTs but the pain kept coming back. What Lisa does goes so much further. She addresses your pain holistically from your foot up to your neck and head. Her “exercises” are very different than standard PTs. They literally “speak” to your body in a language it understands. I can’t explain it but my body thanks her sincerely.

Lisa is a smart, non nonsense therapist that knows her stuff and gets to the heart of the matter. I had a shoulder issue that I was struggling with for months that was not improving very rapidly despite trying many a multitude of approaches. She saw what was going on and addressed the issue in a way that structurally made sense and was not overwhelming. I'm finally seeing a lot of improvement and am very grateful. highly recommend her! She really cares about her clients as well which is lovely.

I always look forward to Lisa's fitness in the park class which is twice a week. The small group allows Lisa to correct each one of our postures and alignments to perform exercises correctly. So I like this individualized approach. I also like that no two sessions are alike: exercises are alway different and aimed to develop our bodies all around. She is knowledgeable in many physical therapy modalities and applies this to her classes. Plus, it is fun!

My experience working with Lisa Decker has been life-changing. Severe sciatica pain led me to an MRI through my HMO that identified a bulging disc impacting a nerve. My HMO put me on a progression of pain killers and in a support group for “living with pain”. This was not a path I wanted to follow. A recommendation from my family doctor led me to Foundation Training and to Lisa at Aligned Fitness. Lisa’s approach to using your posture and functional tests as a feedback mechanism to identify corrective exercises was a dramatic improvement over the arbitrary exercises prescribed by my HMO PT. Lisa effectively used Egoscue exercises to correct my posture and alleviate my pain symptoms - completely! I am continuing to work with Lisa to build on the success of the corrective work to build strength and mitigate any return of my postural dysfunction and associated pain. I recommend Lisa to anyone experiencing chronic back pain. If you want to correct the root of the problem, and not simply “live with the pain” then you owe it to yourself to speak with Lisa.

I was introduced to the Egoscue Method generally and Lisa Decker specifically in January 2020. I had just suffered severe Sciatica pain over the Holiday Season and was in a wheel chair as I couldn't walk but for more than 30 seconds. The pain relief was quick with Egoscue so much so that I could cross country ski in Yellowstone in February, before COVID hit. The story goes on. Through the combination of Egoscue, a challenge from my wife to get to our Wedding Weight and the Pandemic, I started exercising a lot more, continued with Lisa's Egoscue regimen and started eating healthier. Now , back to my High School weight and having incorporated Egoscue into my morning routine, starting with Foundation Training, I feel great. I don't know if i need to go back to the gym the same way even after the pandemic is over. I can't recommend Lisa's approach strongly enough.

I just completed your first video on spine mobility, located on your website. Wow! You achieved its purpose and twenty-three minutes was a perfect length to get my spine mobile at 5 o'clock in the morning. You gave good direction and breathing technique, which I need being a newer student. I especially felt loose yet strong at 18:00 minutes, when you were shifting the spine to either side...really liked that movement. Your class has strengthened my many upper body muscles these past few months of Qigong. I've also been able to sit during most of the movements while waiting for my orthopedic doctor to guide me with how to use my injured ankle. On a personal note, my T-spine pain with one mid-back vertebrae is gone! I've had it since 2010 due to an over-caffeinated chiropractor's adjustment. Anyway, I haven't had any pain or discomfort since I started your class and I kept my blood pressure low. Thank you for this way of life!

I can't thank mark thibert enough for his work and patience with me. On May 13 I had a stroke causing complete paralysis on my left side. I forced myself to slide head first down the stairs (I had been in my lift) so I could hopefully get help. I told alexa to call my son. She did. He sent the ambulance. At the hospital the doc sucked a clot from my brain bringing me back to almost normal. However, I have dealt with weakness in my left leg and pain in my back particularly the left hip which has gotten progressively worse. I went to a doc, did physicsl therapy which did nothing except suggest using a cane when I walk to strengthen my stride. I began working with Mark thibert for the past few months. Because of him, I am regaining strength and mobility and lessening the pain. An mri had showed minor bulging of some disc's. He has given me sets of progressive exercises that have motivated me to keep at it. Once when he had given me a set of 3 to do, I had said that was so doable for me. However, he then gave me his famous line "Are you in charge of your health " which made me think. He reexplained why the exercises need to be done on a certain pattern because they build upon one another. He made a lit of sense and I am faithfully doing my set of 7 which only takes about 20 minutes and I feel better each time Yes, I am in charge of my health. Thanks. Mark!
