The team was very thorough and kind. I felt like I had all of the information I needed before my surgery. After my surgery, I was able to travel home by myself on the 5th day. Although I thought I could be more active, I strongly suggest that you give yourself some grace to heal. I am so happy with the job the Dr. Sparks did on my left knee. I will be going back for my right knee replacement. The day after my six week checkup, I actually went snow-machining and felt great afterwards! I tell all of my friends about the Jiffy knee. It’s the only way to go about a new knee, in my opinion.

It was amazing! I had a complete knee replacement, a Jiffy knee replacement. I was able to stay awake thru the procedure like I wanted, everyone was friendly and professional and had a great sense of humor. I was up and walking within hours of surgery. Thank you!

Dr. Kirkham tested and evaluated my motor skills along with several neurological tests. He explained the procedure and any potential risks associated with the spinal injection. When we got to the procedure room, I was able to watch while he performed the injections. He suggested taking it easy and letting me know it could take a couple of days to be effective. I am totally impressed with all the doctors, physical therapists, and staff at Alaska Fracture & Orthopedic. They offer five star medical treatment and the listen, and then explain. Thank you all!

We had cheerful and excellent service from everyone with whom we came in contact! Cameron cheerfully helped us get to the office, the x-ray staff knew exactly how to do the pictures in a pleasant and efficient manner. Cindy was wonderful in explaining and pointing out what was on the x-rays and what she could tell from them and how we could proceed from there. We chose the shot and she administered it so well that I only felt a little prick. By the time we got home I was able to use my arm a little without excruciating pain. Wonderful!!!!!! We had a little excitement and drama with the elevator, but that too had a good outcome thanks to Bernie’s Pharmacy and Station 4 Fire Department! What an interesting day. I cannot promise such drama for everyone but know that you are in good hands with the people of 4100 Lake Otis Pkwy!

Although my appointment was a little late but I was very satisfied with the whole experience. I was not rushed and was given plenty of information to make me feel at ease. Mr Lamb answered all my questions which means I will be calm for the procedure.

For a surgery experience it was much less painful than I had anticipated. I was treated well by my doctors and their staff. In two weeks after surgery I was driving myself and able to direct duplicate bridge games, and walk with minimum cane assistance At five weeks I could walk well. Pick up things from the floor without assistance. My Physical therapy sessions were not painless but they did what was hoped for : my reasonably quick recovery.

My pre-op visit with Andrew was the 1st time we had met. It was a very positive experience! He was calm, thorough, informative and put me at ease. He took time to explain the process and benefits of robotic surgery to me and my husband, which was enlightening and helpful.

I was very well pleased with my visit with Dr. Prevost. He explained it in very good detail. I’m looking forward to the surgery and waiting a long time. My faith is in him. I’ll be having left hip surgery and if that surgery goes well it’ll only be my right knee surgery, The left knee may be affiliated with The left hip surgery at this point only time will tell like I say I have good faith in Dr. Prevost ! Ps I also ran into a gentleman at the pharmacy in Fairbanks told me he had both his hips done by Dr. Prevost and they are doing excellent thank you
