On the nursing home side of the house, you and/or your loved one will regret being dumped here. During the first few weeks, this place showed wonderful potential. The nurses were thorough organized and followed up on everything.. They kept you informed of what your medications were and their purpose. They got to know your individual needs. You kept that nurse for several days or even a week or more. However as time went on, this patient /nurse relationship was lost as nurses were seemingly shaken out of a box and what ever fell out is what you wound up with for that day or night, sometimes not even knowing who your nurse was. It was very often difficult if not impossible to get any kind of nursing assistance after 5:00pm. During those first few days, some of my personal belongings were lost during the transfer from one facility to another.. Not quite denying any wrongdoing, they asked what I was missing and did replace one big ticket item,. It was impossible to remember everything . It would be like trying to remember what you had for. dinner the past week. The place is not air conditioned and I shared a room facing southwest with an entire wall of patio doors. During warm weather, the room got. absolutely horrid, though they tried to .mitigate the problem with lots of fans.
