I was not even seen by a doctor. My doctor retired and was giving me anti anxiety meds. I am also prescribed Suboxone. I understand not wanting to write them. That's fine and their right. I respect that. The nurse practitioner came in after me waiting an hour for the NURSE that was with her to tell me he couldn't do it. The practitioner literally didn't say a word to me. All I saw on their walls is we treat you like family. You didn't even have the professional skills to face me yourselves. I was refused a refund just because of the 1 minute conversation with a regular nurse. It was just the lack of respect as a paying client. It's one thing to say your can't write the medicine I was on... It's another to treat me like I was an inch tall. I was good enough for y'all to take that money though. I'm just saying the nurse practitioner or the doctor should have been the one to tell me. Not that poor nurse that was pushed to do y'all's dirty work. The nurse was very sweet. I feel for her. I wasn't even angry. I half expected that they wouldn't write it .... I did NOT expect the doctor's to completely ignore my existence. Even though I was completely nice and friendly the entire time.

Well last time I posted something on here I gave him a great review, but now I was supposed to take my shot every two weeks which means they call it in never had a problem with them calling it in until today I called him at noon and ask him to feel it so I can give it to me because it was a shot!! But after 4 hours of me calling them they still have not gone missing into Walmart to have it filled so I can get a shot before they close at 5:00 so now I'm not going to get my shot because they did not send it over in time and I got to be at work by 5:00 so I'm glad to see if this is not a life and death situation!!!

Our family has always had a pleasant experience. Uplifting music. From check-in to check-out, everyone is helpful. Dr. Thomas, is very knowledgeable, kind, and has a very calming personality. He truly listens. Everyone there seems to be walking in his footsteps so no matter who you see, You won't be disappointed.

From the very first urgent care visit to continuing to use Alabama Specialty Clinic, I have received excellent care from Dr. Thomas, Paula (nurse practitioner) and the staff. Being a retired critical care/OR nurse it is second nature to assess my own health concerns and those I seek help from…the 5 stars given are true and honest based upon the care I have received and I have been one disaster after another but these providers hang in there with me and either treat or properly refer to the correct specialists. Very grateful and appreciative of the support and care given.

Went in today for a possible ankle area fracture. As always, Dr. Thomas' staff treated me like royalty. From the administrators at the front desk to the nurse, practitioners and Dr. Thomas. Very friendly, caring, and highly skilled. Fortunately, no observed or detected fractures. Applied a supportive brace (really helped) and sent me on my way. Very, very pleased and I highly recommend Dr. Thomas and staff for medical needs, nutritional supplements, etc. Evidently Google Reviews allows 1 individual to conduct 1 review per 1 business, etc. From this point forward I will establish a chronological protocol via the GR edit option. 23 Mar. 2023 Had my 90 day A1c test. While there I requested examinations of 2 additional issues. One required Xrays. Of course it was one of those days when they were short-handed and very busy. Regardless, appt time was honored. No additional waiting time, however, I would have had no problem with a delay. I volunteered to come back at a more convenient time for them. They said all was well and to stay put. As always, though it was one of those crazy days, Dr. Thomas and staff were excellent. From the administrators at the front desk to Doc and the nurses, I was spoiled rotten. Quick, efficient, friendly. Just wanted to say thank you to them and to let the community know that I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks guys, Richard

Dr. Thomas always explains what is wrong with my back and how he's fixing my problem. His office staff is always courteous and prompt in taking care of me. I also appreciate that they follow up with patient care. They have made me feel that I am being cared for and not just another number.

Dr. Thomas and his whole staff is spectacular!! Couldn't ask for a better Doctor to take care of us!! Thank you for all you did for my sweet Mama today! I highly recommend Dr Thomas for all your medical needs!

I’m glad I ignored some of the bad reviews because I had a great experience here! Dr. Thomas is super friendly and caring and the front desk women were very nice and helpful as well! Also, the facility is clean and I was in and out even as a walk-in. Definitely will come back for future needs!
