Two stars because the Doctor im seeing is good. I re-injured my surgically repaired right knee two weeks ago. I was referred for a next day appointment at AOC because my insurance only is trough spring hill hosp and I must use only clinics and doctors within that network. Upon showing up to my appointment 20 minutes early, I had to wait 2.5 hours to see the doctor who told me I needed a MRI. I show up for my MRI only to find that spring g hill doesn't have the proper equipment to do a MRI of my knee. Therefore I have to jump through fiery hoops to get authorization to use the MRI at AOC the next week. Upon getting the MRI im told to schedule a follow-follow-up . I call only to find out that I suddenly can't get in to see the doctor for two weeks. 2 weeks for a follow-up visit to find out if I need surgery to heal a painful injury that has kept me out of work for 2 weeks as is. I was told by the referring physician to not even put weight on it since Ive had prior surgery. Ive never encountered this in my life. But im stuck since my insurance will only allow me to use AOC. My last surgery was done at Ortho Group where I was diagnosed and in surgery within 7 days of the injury. That's my first visit, my MRI, and the surgery. This whole ordeal has taken over 2 weeks and counting . I guess im supposed to do more damage to my knee by waiting around until they can fit me in.
