AKL Pediatric Therapy

I met Matthew, the OT therapist, through a recommendation from my pastor and friend whose children are cared for with professional excellence and, most importantly, the love he has for children. There are no words to thank Matthew for the great work he does and continues to do with my child and we are beyond grateful. My child has had positive and excellent changes in everything. My child loves him and his parents are happy that she is his OT therapist. His attention to us and our parents is the best since he always explains to us about the work he does with my child and the progress, clarifying any doubts and goes the extra mile with good humor and the best attitude and empathy. He earned our respect, heart and is part of the family since we became very fond of him. I recommend Matthew 100%. I thank God for knowing him and helping my son and all children in his needs.

I am very happy with AKL Pediatric Therapy service. They are very quick. I'm very happy with my son's Ocupational Therapist, Mathew. My son connected very easily with him and he has been improving a lot. He's the best Therapist that I have found for my son. He's friendly, loves to work with kids and uses different strategies to make the Therapy enjoyable. Thank you for helping my son.

We are very satisfy with AKL Pediatric Therapy, the therapist has helped the kids, they are always happy when they learn to do pies, waffles and other goodies and he also helps them with subjects they maybe have hard time with. My kids really enjoy working with their therapist Mathew.

I would give AKL a 10-star review if I could! My teenage daughter's OT therapist Dominick is AMAZING! She ended the school year with teachers commenting on her improvements. That speaks volumes of the hard work they both put into the therapy session strategies. I highly recommend AKL services!

I couldn’t give AKL enough stars. My daughter sees Traci for occupational therapy and she’s one of our biggest blessings! She has been with my daughter for three years and is constantly finding new ways to help her in every aspect that she needs as she grows. She goes above and beyond for her from helping when it comes to school, to collaborating with her outside therapists or giving me different ideas to help at home. She invests herself to her kiddos and we are so lucky to have her on our team. She doesn’t just run her sessions by the book.. she sees what your child needs and then forms a plan that specifically gears towards how he/she learns best. Wonder Woman, I’m convinced. The office is always clean and the staff is always so nice and helpful. Their sensory room is zen, filled with dim lights and a bunch of different sensory based activities. The most impressive room has to be their gym. It’s by far the most impressive gym I’ve ever seen with all new equipment and a million different tools for all needs.

My son has been seeing Lianet at AKL for at least two years now and has made such strides with her. She has been absolutely amazing with him. She is very meticulous with the skills and crafts that she uses specifically for him. She is patient with him during times of behavior concerns and has educated herself on his diagnosis to assist her in bettering her care plan for him. I am grateful for Lianet and all she has done to help my son progress. Great therapist!

I would give 100 points if I could. My son loves therapy with Mathew. He has gotten stronger with his hands . He can cook thanks to him . He is very professional, dedicated, and patient. He is like part of our family. My son has surpassed all my expectations. I highly recommend AKL services with Mathew. I think he is the best in ALK....

Matthew Gillis is an excellent therapist, we have been very fortunate to have him . My grandchild has improved a lot and he is so much more independent. We really appreciate his patience and work ethic. You need more people like him. Excellent job!!
