Dr. Valerie Lyon is absolutely the best. She is so thorough and actually wants to hear my complaints and fix them! She has helped me with numbness and tingling going down my arm and a misalignment in my foot that was causing me pain. I am so grateful for her healing touch!

Such a warm and friendly team, from the front desk to the Chiropractors Valerie Lyons, Jefferey Hinners and support staff are all excellent. Miriam the massage therapist is oh so good too. We won’t go anywhere else in San Luis Obispo!

I went in to the office for my first appt and the receptionist was so rude that I walked out. I work in health care and I’ve never acted that way to a patient. Put on a smile and be friendly and attentive, it’s not that difficult.

Was not educated very well on the process, felt like I couldn't fit in a question with the chatty doctor?... Not sure if he was a doctor because he didn't not introduce himself after he took me back from the waiting room. He was unable to adjust my back before and not even after the "therapy" that he had me do. Wasn't educated on what the "therapy" did for me and when I asked I was given very generic answers. When he was trying to adjust me I had to tell him to stop because the angles he had me in where actually hurting me. My lower back tightened up after my visit and I was in a lot of visible pain. Staff and possible doctor I saw was very friendly and kind, but I just would have liked to have felt like I could ask some questions and get some more education prior to throwing me in to their odd therapy tactics. Wont be going back unfortunately.

Friendly and thorough with an eye on prevention and self-care. I had gone to a chiro in Grover that ended up hurting me. I was completely locked up following that visit. When I went to Affinity, the first recommendation was an x-ray just to be safe. I was able to get some relief in the meantime from the heated massage table and the thyroid ultrasound. After x-rays showed no cracks, I was realigned and given a guide of exercises that would help my particular condition. I rarely need to go back in, but when I do, I completely trust the people at this facility.

Dr Lyon has helped me several times to feel better and they have equipment for therapy.

Dr. Valerie Lyons is the best, thorough, caring and knowledgeable.
