My daughter had knee surgery in December 2021 and I was looking for a local, independently owned and operated physical therapy clinic. I asked around and after multiple recommendations for Advanced Physical Therapy/Shannon King, I decided we would give them a try. It was the best decision for care that I could have made! Since then, my daughter has had knee surgery on her other knee and I have had two shoulder surgeries. We have repeatedly chosen to do our physical therapy here. To say we are pleased with the services they provide is an understatement. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to make sure the patient’s needs are met. Incredible experience for my 16yo son after Tommy John surgery. Shannon played a huge role in getting my son’s arm back in shape so he can return to the diamond. His staff is phenomenal. They show how much they truly care about their patients every single time you walk through their doors. Will recommend them to everyone!

Spanning a time period of 30+ years, I have been a physical therapy patient for numerous different problems, at about a dozen various clinical settings in the greater Memphis area. I can truthfully say my experience at Advanced PT is the most thorough, informative, and effective thus far. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, my questions are answered and I feel like a participant in my recovery rather than an "object being repaired". Shannon has successfully worked with me through multiple injuries and chronic problems the past four years, and those that can't be cured are managed well. He is an exceptional PT, and I am so grateful for Advanced PT.
