Advanced Physical Therapy Associates

If you have any kind of pain, chronic or as a result of injury, I highly recommend APT therapist Fernanda. She combines an incredible massage technique with cold laser therapy and your pain just melts away. She is very gentle, highly skilled and asks the right questions, so she can understand exactly how you are feeling and reacting to her treatment. It takes about 45 minutes and you are a new person at the end of the session -- very relaxed and very happy! An important positive effect of this type of massage is that it unblocks your lymph system and also increases your immunity. For me I go every 7-10 days because it helps me so much! I started because of a broken scapula due to an accident, and now go because my exercise routines often leave me with stiffness (I am a bit past my prime years but still can do a lot of gym stuff!). Even one treatment is heaven and Fernanda is so gentle and so good at this -- it's a present to myself. So grateful I have this option. Note: part of the year I live in the NY-Metro area and I cannot find this wonderful treatment anywhere up here. I miss Fernanda when I am not in Fla. She is a goddess! :)

From the moment I started working with Karen Levy I knew I was in GREAT hands. She knew exactly how to work with me to heal my shoulder which was fractured in 4 places. There is no better place to go for physical therapy . They know exactly what they are doing and I never felt rushed for time. I highly recommend Karen and her extraordinary team . Having been to other physical therapists in the past I can honestly say there is NO comparison to the incredible care and treatment I received at A.P.T.A .

They took in the doctor’s script, made sure my insurance covered everything, did an evaluation so the physical therapists would know what and how to work on my physical issue. Then the therapists went to work with a TENS unit, deep massage (human being), another machine like the TENS which probes deeper in the body, and I was shown how to and did exercises. I was given exercises to do at home and they added more as my physical therapy progressed and different nuances arose. The people are very nice. They are there to help and do everything they can to resolve the physical issue. Great space. Great people. Great product (the physical therapists). Great process.

From my very first session they were professional, caring and attentive. The environment is well managed, clean and all staff members are attentive to patients from scheduling to care. Couldn't recommend the Advance Physical Therapy Associates enough!! The staff have been professional, accommodating and highly skillful as well as being easy to deal with. I am still "a work in progress", but my recovery is moving in the right direction and I anticipate continued improvement due to the supportive environment at this office. I am highly recommending this facility!

The staff here are phenomenal! They are very knowledgable in what they do and very kind. I am a student that has been observing here for half a year under Vanessa. She is a wonderful clinician that has taught me a lot during my time there. This clinic has set the bar high for what I want to see in clinicians doing in the future. APTA is an excellent physical therapy facility. Vanessa, my therapist, is knowledgeable, professional, caring and interested in the patient. The other therapists seemed equally qualified. Everyone is pleasant and makes you feel welcome. You will almost enjoy coming each time. I say "almost" because you will be "working". I ended my sessions feeling so much better than when I began. I left with knowledge of ways to continue to help myself.

I have been working with Jerrie and Alfredo on PT for my hip and I can see a great improvement. The staff is very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend going to Advance Physical Therapy.
