I have been going through a painful journey for the past 3 years. I was in crippling pain. So I googled my condition and places near me that treated it thinking I'd just get another trigger point injection that's just going to treat the pain. Alissa Barnes has given me hope. She is healing me so that won't be my future. I cannot say enough great things about this beautiful woman. She is kind and takes the time with u so that u understand your condition and how she would like to treat you. Can't say enough words to describe how grateful I am to this amazing woman! Please if u are in pain or feel like there's no hope- get a hold of advanced physical medicine and ask to see Alissa Barnes! The facility and staff are all a wonderful! I cannot express enough gratitude for the quality care and support that I received. The experience from start to finish is superior. Scheduling and working with my insurance was efficiently handled for me. My initial assessment was truly informed to gather as much information as possible to specifically address my needs and health concerns. My prescription for overall wellness was tailored and highly effective. I met my goals in a timely manner. I could not have received any more support than I did. I remember saying to one of the PTA’s “ I am not going to remember any of these exercises the next time I am here”. She replied “It’s okay . We will be here to help you every time”. They were there to help me every single time. I was always met with support, consideration, and the very best expertise. My at home program was just as efficient and supportive as the in-person experience. Dr. Boyd is a talented individual that provides care with ease, a little humor, and a sense of respect and safety. This is a one of a kind, above and beyond experience and I am truly grateful!

I went to Advanced Physical Medicine after 2 failed surgeries for scoliosis. I am amazed at the entire team of professionals working together to lower my pain levels (I've gone from an 8 to a 2!). Everyone in this group is very caring, and they encourage me every single time I'm there. From chiropractic care to trigger point injections to customized treatment plans -- this place has it all! I'll be forever grateful to each and every one of them for reducing my pain. I feel like I have a close family in them too!

The nurse practitioners and clinical assistants are ALL absolutely amazing! Alissa, one of the nurse practitioners, saw the main issue with my hand almost immediately. I had been on the verge of surgery and she recommended a treatment to me that absolutely changed my life and helped me to love my work day again, and gave me hope. She has followed up and has gone above and beyond in my treatment, and I trust her advice implicitly. They do not recommend any treatment unless there is a good reason. I can’t recommend this group highly enough. They get to the heart of the issue and I wish all medical care was this great. Every single staff member is amazing!

Everyone here is absolutely amazing. They are upfront about the costs of treatment, and make sure they are helping to find and treat the root cause of what is happening. Amy as a case manager is absolutely fantastic and helps answer any financial or treatment plan questions I might have. The girls at the front desk, Skylar, Liv, and Jill are sweet as can be and when they ask how I am doing they genuinely care. All of the people helping with the exercises and PT are amazing, friendly, and help to make sure I am doing everything correct and getting the most out of my time with them. Unfortunately I am still learning their names (bad on my part) but if I could say something about each one of them by name I would. Dr. Boyd not only does his chiropractic work, but he makes sure I don’t have any questions and if I do they are well answered. I am not sure if I should include the nurse practitioners for TPI here as well since they are a different practice, but the same goes for them going above and beyond! If you are needing a place to go, this is the right one. I am glad I found them

By far the best part of my week. The only place that has given real results. All workers are amazing at their jobs. I’m a huge fan. Dr. Boyd is a chiropractic genius, and a warm hearted amazing person. The girls at the front desk go above and beyond when it comes to their jobs- show real care for people. All the PT therapists are great in their own ways. Everyone is very personable which makes the experience here enjoyable and a true act of self care (and corrective care). I love everything about this establishment, and I’m so blessed to have found them.

My husband started getting injection therapy in March 2020 from Alissa Barnes for bad, chronic, tension headaches he has suffered from for years. Traditional medical approaches were not helping much. He took his prescription medication very often. The injection therapy gave him a good deal of relief after his first visit. He improved at a steady rate as he received his treatments on a regular basis. He went from being almost constantly in pain to occasionally. His level of pain was reduced significantly. It took him over six months (June - December) to take 30 capsules of his pain medication! My husband’s injection therapy is a success! Alissa Barnes is a wonderful, caring, & talented provider. We recommend her & Advanced Physical Medicine to everyone who suffers from chronic pain.

I have dealt with chronic pain for 10 years after a spinal fusion to correct severe scoliosis. The trauma to my back has been life-altering, and I have visited physical therapists for years with no noticeable, sustainable relief. When I first visited Advantage, I was greeted with caring and professional practitioners who showed genuine concern for my health. What was most notable to me was their excellence at identifying the cause of my chronic pain from the inside out. I was so grateful to know that they were uncomfortable treating my pain without seeing an updated X-Ray. This proved their dedication and professionalism, and I have never felt more welcome or personally cared for than I have in this practice. They helped me develop a payment plan I am comfortable with, and it is clear that their patients’ health is what is most important. After four visits for injections, (and more to come,) I have experienced less pain overall and a greater range of motion, which has felt like a miracle. I cannot recommend Advantage enough!
