I am so happy with my experience at Advanced Hand & Orthopedics. Brinn was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and provided me with additional resources to take home. She made me a custom brace and it has completely changed the way I use my hand and has allowed me to participate in activities that were previously too painful. I had a generic brace prior to this custom one and I am pleasantly surprised by how comfortable my new brace is and I like wearing it. The front desk staff are also very friendly and as someone who has a hard time with fragrances (air fresheners) I appreciates that this office was fragrance free.

Beware of this place. The therapists are good but the billing practices in our experience were borderline criminal. Especially if this provider is not in your insurer's network, make sure to get the total cost for treatments UP FRONT and in writing. Record any relevant verbal conversations. We were emphatically reassured by an employee of this company at intake - twice - that our insurance would be billed at an amount consistent with an in-network provider rate such that after co-pay and our deductible was met, insurance would cover the rest. NOT. And not once in the ensuing eight weeks of treatment were we ever updated with the truth, that the insurance company was not reimbursing what this place charged for the treatments. Over six months later - Surprise! - you owe us $1000.00. Forget appealing. The owner will blame it on you for not keeping track of the billing disparity, not own the fact HIS employee misled you, and threaten to send the bill to collections if you don't pay. Caveat Emptor.

I am very disappointed in this place. Do not get me wrong, their PTs are great, but the people who run this place and the financial team are not. I had a bill with this place that I was paying on. However, after a couple months they called me to tell me that they had not received payments. They then send my bill to collections without letting me know. It was a surprise to me that my bill was not getting paid. If they only took all major credit cards this likely would not have happened. In addition, I asked for the head person to call so that I could discuss the fact that they send my bill to collections without telling me and they never did. Stay away from this place if you can. This was just the cream on top of a horrible experience I had with my wrist surgery.

Their billing department is either incompetent or exploitative. They charged me $95 for my first visit. This seemed wrong to me so I immediately called both my insurance and another OT office. Both said I was 100% covered. When I went back in the front desk met me with annoyance and argued with me insisting it's what I owe even as I showed them my coverage in app and told them that I'd called my insurance. It took over 30 minutes for her to realize her mistake and refund the charge. At which point I did not receive any apology only, "We're not trying to go after you. It's just all they show us in the system." On top of this they charge you for small devices like finger braces/compression sleeves. The next office I went to had no trouble looking up my coverage and included the small devices as covered by insurance. I feel bad for the therapists at this office as they are probably quite competent. I will not be returning.

After losing my three left fingers (index, middle and ring) after a personal accident, I’ve been more than pleased with the team at Advanced Hand and Orthopedics for my therapy recovery. From their front staff to my assigned OT, they are so welcoming and comforting with their assistance on healing and rebuilding my strength post event.

Exploitative, amoral billing practices with decent PT. I was referred to Advanced Hand & Orthopedics following a hand surgery. I was making good progress, despite the fact that appointments typically ran 20-30 minutes late. I don't think I ever got a full hour of care. Additionally, you had minimal focused attention-- there seems to be a good friendship among the workers which is a good sign, but that results in less focus on your care. My physical therapist was nice yet brusque but seemed knowledgeable. Unfortunately, their billing/office staff is profoundly incompetent or their billing practices exploitative and fraudulent. I was told my bill would be about $350/session the first time I went in for the new year, and I said I could not afford that and I would not be returning. The billing staff then called my insurance to check into the matter. They then phoned me to confirm that, in fact, they were incorrect and my visits would only be $60. A few appointments later, I showed up after having driven 2.5 hours for my PT, and was told they needed to talk to me about my insurance. They told me that they were incorrect, and that I did, in fact, owe around 350/session. They also said that I owed them backpay for all the visits prior resulting in a exorbitantly high and unexpected bill. When I asked them how long they had known this, they said probably since my last session. I was confused why they hadn't alerted me as to the issue from the time they found out. The staff replied that it would have taken them too much time. The office, in general, seems to have little regard for your personal time and well-being. Additionally, during the back and forth over billing woes, my therapist ignored me and didn't say hello. She seemed to be embarrassed by her billing staffs extreme ineptitude. Luckily, she finally got to see a patient on time since I cancelled my appointment after paying my outrageous bill. Perhaps they received a full hour and got their money's worth. I sure didn't. **Follow up: Insurance has just called me after I filed my complaint. I was told that the office staff at Advanced hand and Orthopedics had educated me improperly and clearly did not know how to interpret insurance billing. Be very wary ***

I've had a great experience at Advanced Hand & Orthopedics. They really know their stuff and helped me so much with my hand injury. I worked with Laurie & Leila and they were both fantastic. They provided me with everything I needed to make a full recovery. Super caring, knowledgeable & professional. The entire staff is very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you Advanced Hand & Orthopedics!

I chose to go to this office for my OT, I could have gone to my orthopedics office. I felt that the care that I received from Lorrie was good. I then placed a call to the office to ask about a bill that I received for treatment. I was transferred to Lorraine. I found her to be be very rude. One interaction like this has changed my opinion regarding ever returning to this office again.
