What a great resource to the community! This group helped my daughter leaps and bounds to become more confident, having a greater range of motion and ability, as well as improve her speech, and in turn, her social skills. Her writing also improved. Her OT was in a large gymnasium with great resources and great staff that really worked to accentuate her strengths and mitigate her weaknesses. The owner really helped us to make it affordable and ensure she could consistently attend. My daughter loved the staff, and was excited whenever she got to go.

I have 2 boys who have been going to Activities For Development for Occupational Therapy for a few years now. We love the space and all of the equipment they have that makes therapy fun. The boys have had consistent therapists that know how to motivate them and even after a full day of school, they love going to the “gym” to see Cass and Chris! The owner Carlina has been great to work with as well and has always been very friendly and accommodating.

Activities for Development has such great therapists, and my son loves coming for his sessions. We first came to them for help with his toe walking, and they later helped us evaluate and address some visual motor problems he had. Everyone who has worked with him has been awesome. They are creative and engaging for the kids and are excellent at communicating and supporting parents.

My children have been going here for 5+ yrs. Huge warehouse space, they have equipment to accommodate a wide range of activities for therapies. I've been very impressed with their facilities. Staff is professional, they give me daily reports of what the kids are working on that day per request. They take insurance & work with our schedule. They have been instrumental in giving tips & resources to help deal with schools, but they won't hand hold & direct school environment. That isn't their job, schools won't pay them for that. (FYI, most therapy locations & doctors won't work with schools, this is the sad reality of having a unique child.) This location is a great resource for speech, occupational & physical therapy for children. ADDED 7/24: My children have unfortunately moved to a different location and wrapped up OT/ST altogether due to age and other factors. I still remember ATD fondly. I had 3 children at this location. We all have fond memories. The owner became a great friend, haven't been in touch for a bit as life gets away from everyone at times. Since I've been to other therapy services I can say with confidence that ADT are very professional and I miss the way they do things. I miss the unique problem solving too. They genuinely care and connect with their clients. Also, I had the unique opportunity to follow my at the time young baby (under 2) to one of the back rooms for therapy sessions because he was the only one in the room and I saw no other or interrupted no other client. Never saw anything that would make me concerned. I was a client for 9+ years.

We love Activities for Development. My son has been going here for 4 1/2 years for speech and occupational therapy, and he has flourished. We switched here from a different clinic that was not a good match for my son. All the therapists are very professional and fantastic to work with! They are very patient and caring, and make the activities fun. They will give you a quick update at the end of each session and will give you suggestions on what you could work on at home if you want. I would highly recommend them for any therapy needs.

My son is always happy to go to his therapies at Activites for Develpment. Everyone is very professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate and have witnessed my child's progress with them. Always at the end of each session, the assigned therapist explains what they worked on and give me recommendations for things to do at home! I highly recommended Activities For Development.

We love it here! We've been to other places for speech therapy and are so happy to have found Activities for Development! Everyone is very friendly and all about the children. It's very clean and kept neat, they're on time, and provide a verbal report at the end of each session. They provide ways to help support at home and what to continue to work on. My son loves it and doesn't complain about going; he did about other places. The space is very large and they have lots of equipment- it's deceiving from the lobby, but the back area for PT and OT is very large and lots of space to work with the kids. I highly recommend Activities for Development.

We really love Activities for Development. My son Adrian (3 years old) has been going here for just over a year for sensory processing disorder and works with the occupational therapists. They are wonderful. They tailor his sessions to address concerns specific to Adrian. Adrian has made so much growth since starting here. Not only do they work with him during his sessions, but they always come out and explain everything Adrian did during his session and how to use various activities at home to continue therapy. The occupational therapy has helped with speech, body control,fine/gross motor skills, self regulation, and so much more. Adrian begs to go see his therapists because he looks at it as an hour of fun play! His therapists are amazing and go above and beyond for our boy. Miss Cass even created chest brace covers for Adrian because she knew he needed them and that it would help him... and did this on her own time at home! The office staff is very kind and loving. Our family is on an extremely tight and fixed budget, and Carlina worked with our family to ensure that Adrian got the therapy he needed. She always comes out and offers sound advice in helping navigate insurance or the school systems, and truly cares about each family that comes into her building. Their new building is clean and offers a lot of space to really work with the kids. We are so thankful our doctor recommended Activities for Development! We highly recommend them to everyone!
