Active Solutions Physical Therapy

I have seen Olaf for three different issues over the past nine years and he is a true professional! He carefully designed treatment plans that were incremental and increasingly more challenging as he guided me to full recoveries. His receptionists were quite friendly and super supportive, as well! I would definitely recommend Olaf and Active Solutions Physical Therapy without any reservation!

Antoinette was a great physical therapist. She did a good job of asking me questions and listening to my responses and issues, and then both providing therapy in the office and prescribing exercises I could do at home. She is also friendly and personable and a good person! Thank you for your assistance in getting me back to health.

For several months I had a severe pain in my legs that was not getting any better. A friend suggested I make an appointment with physical therapist Olaf Deroos of Active Solutions Physical Therapy. For seven weeks I had weekly appointments with Mr. Deroos. At first, he spent a great deal of time understanding my problem and answering my questions. I found him to be very knowledgeable and a good communicator. Each week he would teach me exercises that would strengthen the muscles around my spine and hopefully eliminate the pain. About the fifth week the pain significantly decreased, and I was able to get through the day without painkillers. Olaf is a great physical therapist with a friendly staff and pleasing facilities. I highly recommend Active Solutions.

Olaf provided physical therapy for my knee. I had a hard time walking when I arrived for therapy. I am now riding my bike and walking pain free. I avoided knee surgery. I highly recommend Olaf.

Olaf knows exactly which areas need strengthening. He does massage when needed and assigns just the right amount of exercises. I have improved tremendously since working with him. Antoinette was so good at giving me personalized attention attuned to exactly what was happening with my shoulders. She also gave me lots of good and very specific exercises to do for my shoulder pain, exercises that were targeted just right for my rotator cuff problems.

She encouraged me to be patient with my recovery which was difficult but paid off. Thanks to her I was able to fully enjoy my sea kayaking trip. Olaf treated my plantar fasciitis for several months - it had been active for 5 months - i am now 7 mos into it, and it is improved by 90 percent - and still improving. Whatever falls apart next, Olaf will be asked to treat it. He is a real resource.
