I had been dealing with intolerable neck and shoulder pain for years. Dr. Chu has taught me how to strengthen while at the same time alleviating inflammation/ pain. Her dedication and knowledge have helped changed my life. The simple strength training and range of motion exercises are explained thoroughly, making it easy to do at home. I am much stronger, able to do more in my daily life activities, and continue to grow mind body soul thanks to Dr. Chu !

I’ve been going to Mary chu for about 5 years now , she is very precise with her work, she has helped me with injuries ranging from my meniscus to elbow tendinitis . If the pain is unbearable she’ll even go above and beyond and do a house call. I don’t get work done by anyone else she does it all , body scraping , cupping , mobility work ! 5/5 would recommend !

I am a new nurse who just started working bedside, and for the first time in my life I was experiencing chronic lower back pain. Dr. Chu gave great advice about fixing my posture at work and recommended core exercises to perform to improve my posture not only at work but in everyday activities. It makes it much easier to take care of my patients without back pain. Dr. Chu is not only highly skilled, but also extremely flexible with scheduling and location. She is a great mobile physical therapist that I will be recommending to all my friends and family is the need should ever arise!

REVIEWS A couple of weeks ago, I was experiencing some dizzy spells and pain in my cervical spine that ran tingling sensations down to my finger tips. After two weeks of concern and no longer able to take the pain, I decided to seek a physical therapist to help with both, figuring it all correlated. At my first appointment, she concluded I had a form of vertigo and the there were pinched nerves along my spine, this alleviated my concern for the worst possible scenario. After my first appointment, my dizzy spells decreased in frequency and length and the pain in my c/s subsided. As I continued forward with therapy, everything continued to get better and better; after my third visit my dizzy spells are almost non existent and the pain and tingling sensations have improved almost to 90%. I have one last appointment with her and I am already reassured that if at any time I need help, I can reach out to her. Having worked in physical therapy myself, it was important for me to seek out a PT who was not only knowledgable but also possess sincere compassion for the care of their patients. Dr. Mary Chu provides the best quality care one can provide, takes the time with her patients to ensure she is doing everything possible to get you better, and most of all she is honest. These are the most important aspects that I look for when it it comes to the health of my body. If you you are looking for the same, I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Mary Chu as your go to physical therapist.

Dr. Chu is awesome. I went to her pre and postpartum. She helped me identify problems areas and exercises to help correct any issues I was having. I still go to her and will continue to do so.

I was in a bad car accident 15 years ago. I required weeks of intensive physical therapy to fix the back injury I sustained in the accident. What I did not know at the time was I also had whiplash that went undiagnosed. Years later, my arms started going numb and I was experiencing shooting pains down both arms, from my shoulder to my fingers. Worried, I reached out to Dr. Chu who was able to quickly assess the situation and recognize that I was experiencing symptoms of whiplash. From there, she prescribed a series of strengthening exercises as well as weekly sessions with her. I was able to finally find relief. And, the aspect of Dr. Chu’s practice that I found most useful was she took the time to educate about how the body works and is connected. This still helps me today when a new pain arises, I stop and think, what’s connected. Thank you Dr. Chu!

Dr. Chu is the person you want to see for pain relief! I started having recurring neck problems at the beginning of the year. I would regularly wake up with a pulled neck muscle; sometimes it would be the right side and other times the left. I assumed it was a combination of sleeping wrong and getting old. When I finally decided to do something about it, I first went to see an acupuncturist that was able to help with the pain but couldn't give me a long term solution to not pulling my neck muscle in the first place. I am so thankful I was referred to Dr. Chu. She was able to help with pain relief but even better, she was able to point out why it was happening and taught me some stretches and exercises to prevent it from happening again. It has absolutely helped and I am happy to report that pulling my neck muscle is no longer a problem for me. And I only had to see her once!

I broke my finger playing softball. I could not afford to see a doctor at the time because I did not have any insurance. Mary looked at my thumb and told me I had scar tissue building up. After several meetings I regained full range of motion and grip in my thumb. I have not experienced any lingering issues. I would recommend Mary to anyone needing a competent physical therapist.
