All the stuff is super nice! Very professional and thorough. Welcoming receptionists, attentive therapists, and wonderful chiropractor Dr. Whitney. They really care about their patients and take their time to listen to your concerns. Very family-like atmosphere. Truly feel blessed each time I leave. I 100% recommend it!

I don’t usually post negative reviews, but I felt like I had to share my experience with Action Physical Therapy. I had a partial shoulder replacement in December 2023, and as someone in my early 30s, I was committed to my recovery. First off, let me say the therapists—especially Suzzette and Lazaro—are truly fantastic. They deserve 5 stars, hands down. Unfortunately, the front office didn’t match that same level of dedication, and that’s where my experience went downhill. Here’s why I rated this place 2 stars & not 5: For the first 5 months, everything went smoothly with my appointments, no issues with scheduling or insurance. But then, out of the blue, the front office told me they couldn’t schedule my next appointment without prior authorization from my 'primary.' Not being in the medical field, I assumed 'primary' meant my insurance, so I asked if there was anything I could do to help speed things up. They told me no, that I just had to wait. And so, I waited…and waited. For almost 2.5 months, I was stuck without therapy during a critical recovery period. I called the office twice a week, every week, but kept getting the same answer or a promise that the office manager, Jackie, would call me back. She eventually did and she was nice, but it felt like I was just being brushed off. Finally, I got fed up and asked if I should call my insurance myself. That’s when they clarified that 'primary' actually meant my primary doctor. Within 1 phone call to my doctor, the authorization was done in two days. The fact that it could have been resolved so quickly if only the front office had communicated better was extremely frustrating. When I was finally able to return, another issue came up: suddenly, they wanted backpay on copays I hadn’t been informed about. The front office couldn’t provide clear answers on why, only that it was 'what my insurance says.' Once again, I had to call my insurance myself to straighten it out. This cycle repeated 2 more times, at which point I decided to go to a different clinic for my final 2 months of therapy. At my new clinic, the front office handles everything—emails, faxes, and even phone calls—to make sure authorizations go through smoothly, and I’ve had zero interruptions in my therapy. Which is how it should be, just a person actually working and doing their job. I wish the front office at Action Physical Therapy had taken the same initiative. To be clear, my issue is only with the front office, as the therapists here were absolutely great and truly cared about my progress. I’m sorry to leave this review because of them, but if the front office could improve, this place would be a far better experience for patients who really depend on their support.

I had an appointment with one of the therapists recently and was faced with extreme unprofessionalism. Before even setting up an appointment, I sent over all of the necessary documents, listing his age along with any notes in his medical record. When I was finally given an appointment, I was scheduled with a person who was listed as a pediatric PT. Upon meeting with her, she informed me that she was actually an adult therapist. She also stated, “I’m very picky about taking any kid.” I will admit that my child is on the spectrum, which is listed on his medical records, so I’m unsure as to why the clinic even accepted my appointment referral, given that every detail about my son is listed on his records. I thought it was extremely unprofessional to have to wait an absurd amount of time, and then not even be attended because the PT was “picky.” I understand that not every person is equipped to handle children on the spectrum, but I would have appreciated a little more professionalism and respect on their end. I would not recommend this clinic to parents looking for help because you risk wasting your time and being denied therapy in the end.

This was a second referral by our pediatrician. When booking the appointment I sent in our referral from our pediatrician. We got to our appointment 30 minutes early and we’re given a clipboard of papers to fill out that didn’t obtain to our child needs. There was also a full lobby area so we had to wait outside with our nine month old. After returning the papers to the front desk, we waited an additional 30 minutes for someone to call us back. Our appointment was booked at 4:20 and we didn’t go back until almost 5:15. Once we were called We were brought into an office. Never once did this person introduce themselves to us. She went on to ask us why we were there and seem to have no idea about the referral. When I had asked if she read the referral or intake form she said that she did not have it. She at that Time proceeded to ask me intake questions not only about my daughter, but also about myself and the pre-and post care after pregnancy. Also mind you her office door was wide open with three clients outside and an ear shot away of hearing these medical questions. Doing an open door consultation is strictly against Hyppa guidelines. At first, she was trying to do the evaluation on the ciro table, with a nine month old… who is squirming. There were multiple times where I thought my daughter was going to lean off the side of the table. At that point, I had asked the doctor if there was a place designated for pediatric patients because this office was definitely not it. This is when she brought us to an uncovered, dirty 4 x 6 massage table. She continue with her evaluation. During the evaluation, it seemed that she was very unsure of what she was looking for and was just trying to get my baby to call instead of trying to figure out what the problem might have been and how to help her. Instead, she put my child on all fours and just started moving her legs until she fell face first. I feel as if she saw the frustration in our faces as parents and pulled in a physical therapist. It wasn’t until that time that my fiancé and I learned that she was not a physical therapist and that she was a chiropractor. Mind you the appointment we booked and the referral that we sent in was for a pediatric physical therapist evaluation! It wasn’t until 20 minutes into the appointment, did we find out that’s not what we were here for. The physical therapist was nothing but helpful and informative. However, she said because she is an assistant, she would not be able to do the evaluation like we needed. We would have to wait a whole week until the person who does them comes back from vacation. In total, our appointment was about 35 minutes long with no great outcome of how to help my daughter. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, they could seem to care less. Almost as if I was inconveniencing them for bringing it to their attention. Before we checked out of our appointment there was a new client who had been waiting probably over an hour for his appointment, who also walked out without seeing a doctor or physical therapist. Based off of this visit alone, I would never recommend this office to a fellow parent or someone seeking physical therapy. The office seem to be very chaotic with no structure whatsoever. When you’re offering pediatric care to patients, I believe that you should have a designated area just for kids. Maybe some toys to motivate them and incentivize them to move or separate room where there isn’t so many distractions and a place that is cleaned normally and after each patients and small children are more susceptible to germs. It seems as if this office just wanted to collect insurance money, knowing that they would never be able to service pediatric clients the way they should
