We had an outstanding experience with Rebecca Rowe, who delivered an insightful presentation to our preschool teachers. The session covered essential topics, including communication strategies for non-verbal or minimally speaking children, a play-based approach to teaching, and recognizing and fulfilling basic sensory needs within the classroom. The presentation was not only informative but also highly engaging. Our teachers loved it and left feeling more equipped to support children with special needs. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us!

ACT Therapy provides many services for children but we were there for speech therapy working with Rebecca. She does an amazing job focusing on what the child needs and how to lead them to their goal. Rebecca is knowledgeable, patient, professional and an all around pleasure to work with. We were there weekly and bi-monthly. There were times my daughter didn’t want to go but once she got there she was happy she went. Speech therapy while playing games is more fun than work. All of the staff at Act Therapy are professional and warm. Very satisfied and highly recommend if your family needs any of their services.

Rebecca's MYO Therapy from ACT has made an incredible difference for my son. We've witnessed remarkable improvements in his speech, but what truly sets Rebecca apart is her keen eye for detail. She not only enhanced his speech capabilities but also identified issues that went unnoticed by other speech therapists and orthodontists. Her guidance led us to the right specialist for further treatment. Securing an appointment with her is quite challenging due to her busy schedule, but if you manage to get one, consider yourself lucky. This is my first Google review, and I felt compelled to share it because of Rebecca's unwavering commitment and dedication to improving my son's speech.

We have had an amazing experience with our son's speech therapy at ACT. He loves going to see Miss Frances each week and I think would say she is definitely within his top 5 favorite people. He's made excellent progress and we are feeling pretty bittersweet that he is close to meeting all his goals. Aside from the actual therapy everyone at ACT is friendly and helpful. Kayla & Tynia at the front desk are awesome with communication when schedule changes are necessary or answering just any other general questions. Additionally, any questions about insurance rates have been answered promptly and thoroughly. We could not recommend ACT more if you are looking for a provider for therapy for your child!

I am truly happy to leave a review. My daughter has seen so many therapist at so many places, and never have I encountered such wonderful people as the staff here at ACT. We have experienced so much progress in life. I have found the place that loves my kid exactly how I hope someone would. I can’t express my gratitude enough for ACT therapy services. You couldn’t pay me to go somewhere else. Miss Ashley and Miss Emily are exceptional women, but all the ladies who work there express such happiness at seeing my daughter every week. Whatever you’re looking for for your child, you can find right here.

We have been so impressed and grateful for ACT therapy—it has been such a gift for our family! Rachel, our speech therapist, has been wonderful while working with our 2 year-old and she always has the best play-based activities planned for our sessions! She gives us practical tools to use when playing with our daughter at home and our kiddo is making great progress! We always feel cared for, welcomed, and known by the whole team. The energy and culture of the office is really warm and welcoming and we are so thankful our daughter is growing in her development there! We highly recommend this practice!

I came across ACT therapy on a mom group. Dani had an opening and upon meeting her for the initial evaluation she got on my daughters level to speak to her and took interest in getting to know her. The office was about thirty minutes from my home, but the quality care and interest she took in getting to know my daughter were well worth the weekly drive. Over the 8 months that Olivia met with her weekly we learned what a thoughtful and caring teacher Dani is. She was organized, patient focused, prepared, knowledgeable, a great communicator and put a lot of thought into her lessons. Additionally, she was kind, took the time to connect with Olivia and took interest in what she liked and eventually became a part of our week that we both really looked forward to. She started sessions promptly and incorporated games into her instruction, making the lessons fun and engaging. She always remembered what my daughter had coming up with sports or trips and would ask follow-up questions, making a strong connection and showing how much she cared. She set learning goals and provided optional activities to practice at home. At one time while we were receiving services we had a shift and schedule and ended up switching to the Huntersville office. Equally as far, but we were willing to drive wherever Dani had an opening. I have recommended her to many friends and will continue to do so. As we wrapped up our sessions I’m so thrilled at the progress we’ve made, and also so thankful for the impact she had on our family. I am so thankful to the act therapy staff for being easy to work with, quick to respond and for providing a waiting area with books etc. which made it easier to wait with her younger sibling.

Addison at ACT Therapy Services has been a tremendous help to my preschool. As a teacher, parents often ask questions about early developmental concerns. It is great to have Addison and the ACT team there to professionally and informatively provide answers to families. Addison is wonderful to work with, the children love her, and they are learning so much and making gains from her program. She is also excellent at communicating with parents which is so helpful. Working with Addison and the ACT team has been a fantastic resource for the families at my school. I’m so thankful for their guidance in giving my students the best start possible.
