Access Therapy Group

My daughter recently had physical therapy at Access Therapy and we are so thankful for the care given to her. All of the staff were helpful and kind, and I cannot thank enough her physical therapist, Laurene, for helping my daughter get back to gymnastics pain free and stronger then ever before. The therapy my daughter got here will not only help her now, but will help prevent re-injury later. It was a great experience that we are thankful for.

Can’t say enough good things about access therapy group, Clifton Park! My son needed physical therapy for plagiocephaly and torticollis starting at two months old… We worked with Jeff for a year and I cannot tell you how incredible it was! They are kind, patient, professional, and always heard all of my many, many questions! Jeff was encouraging and patient, loving and kind, and I could tell he really cared for my child! We would absolutely go back to access therapy group, Clifton Park, if needed!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. All of the staff are very friendly, the amenities are clean and the appointments always run on time. Dr. Lauren is an amazing PT and she truly has a gift working with kids. Dr. Lauren grew my 3 year olds confidence and was so good at getting him to do the work even when he didn’t want to. She is flexible in her practice and was able to change her game plan based on my sons needs for the day. Dr. Lauren makes PT fun, my son was sad his sessions were over. We are very happy with the outcome of Access Therapy.

The Occupational Therapists and Staff are absolutely professional and welcoming. They work diligently with children of all ages to bring about better treatment outcomes. I had the pleasure of having OT Kristen for my son who needed services after transferring from Early Intervention. OT Kristen helped my son develop a functional grasp and emerging tripod, helped him with sequencing and following 3-step directions, helped him with problem solving, helped him with transitioning between activities, helped him to sit at a tabletop to complete fine motor activities, provided us with types of gross motor movement and sensory input that can help him to refocus his attention and build his upper strength needed for pre writing skills. She helped us establish an OT plan to help regulate his impulses and helped me to set healthy boundaries for his learning by using a token system. She built trust and friendship with my son. She had the most amazing and creative interactive therapeutic sessions with my son that helped him to build core memories and he still talks about his experiences at OT (The light peg board). She helped him with balance and coordination. The list goes on, she was absolutely phenomenal Occupational Therapist! We thank you and Ms. Paula for working with our schedule. We would have virtual sessions if he was in NYC or at home and the Access Therapy team would work with us by showing up for him virtually or rescheduling. We love Acccess Therapy! Thank You for the pen. I am proud that it has Access Therapy on it and that my son went there to receive his OT services. Come to Access Therapy =D

Our son began speech therapy with Access Therapy in late June 2022. Since we have been working with the team at Access Therapy, we have seen a dramatic change with our son. Not just with his progression in speech, but his behaviors and confidence. He has become more confident in approaching new tasks and milestones and he is now better at self regulating his behaviors and not becoming frustrated when transitioning through activities. We are extremely grateful for the time and dedication this team has provided. They are extremely talented and their expertise is the best in the area.

We do physical therapy here and my son Chris saw Ms. Ashley. She was phenomenal with not only working with chris in a way that engaged him, but I also learned so many things to continue this work at home. We have seen significant improvements in a matter of weeks.

Access Therapy is simply amazing. Between the warm welcome from the office, down to the extra sticker books in the waiting room this office is one of a kind. Our son was recently was discharged after 3 years of therapy and has made LEAPS and BOUNDS! Miss Paula was always energetic, fun, and someone who my son truly looked forward to seeing each week. She was able to identify motor issues I had not noticed before and targeted all of his goals! We would whole heartedly recommend this office to anyone who wants to help their child succeed!!

We had a great experience at Access Therapy. My daughter Alice had a speech delay and worked with Sarah for several months. She was amazing, kind, and very personable. Would definitely recommend the services at Access Therapy!
