To whom it may concern, I want to tell you about my experiences at AccelAbility Balance and Therapy. I have been a long-time patient here - beginning at the Moody location many years ago, now at the Trussville location. I first found the need for physical therapy about 2013 for my arthritic knees. After retirement the pain became more excruciating and debilitating. I was a fairly active person who just didn’t have time for the pain or inability to move. My orthopedic doctor began giving me injections of those “shots” in my knees and advised some physical therapy. The injections and the physical therapy were a blessing and I received major relief of the stiffness and pain. At AccelAbility, with Jonathan, Allison and Kyle, later Emmett, Alex, Taylor and others, I have received great instruction, guidance and support since the “early days” of arthritic pain through both knee replacements (some 5-6 years later) to present day managing related issues. I cannot say enough about the care and attention given to my care plan that everyone (Alex, Reba, Alicia, Zack, so many along the way) have given. I have come and gone through active physical therapy process over this time span and always ask to go back to AccelAbility because I know that my treatment in their clinic will be my “care plan” and specific to my needs as it may develop through the process day to day. I have trusted my treatment and rehab to Emmett Parker and the other therapist at AccelAbility Balance and Therapy for almost ten years. Each person there has the patient’s best “plan” at heart and works to make it unique for the needs of the patient. The atmosphere encourages support and reaching positive goals. Just watching as others in the treatment process gain strength and mobility encourages one and is amazing to experience. Yes, I strongly recommend the treatment you would receive at AccelAbility Balance and therapy with Emmett and his staff. A Grateful Patient, Emily Hodges

I suffer from ongoing dizziness and vertigo. Accelabilty Balance and Therapy has helped me decrease my symptoms and gain back my ability to function normally day to day. I’m a busy mom of three and I hate to think about the low functioning place I was a year ago before I began vestibular therapy with Accelabilty. You will find a kind place to land and receive so much support from Emmett, Taylor, Zack, Alecia and Cooper.
