This is a nice facility, and pleasant atmosphere. My physical therapist really knows what she’s doing. After looking over my records, she explained things clearly. She made a plan for me, and I’m improving. The others appear to be equally qualified and professional, too.

Have you been disappointed with the results of physical therapy in the past? I was ... but am no more thanks to Prajakta and Ability Rehabilitation Specialists in La Jolla. My wife had a frozen shoulder that quickly went away once she started working with Prajakta. That inspired me to give Prajakta a try with my shoulder ailments. Little did I realize that I had lost my full range of motion until Prajakta worked with me to get it back and then strengthen it to where I no longer notice ailments with my shoulder and arm. I then worked with her on some back pain that had been occurring fairly regularly over the years. She helped me strengthen my back and core muscles in an appropriate sequence (rather than just doing the common core work people typically do at the gym) so now I no longer have to be bothered by back pain. I'm so glad to have found Prajakta and Ability Rehabilitation Specialists. From watching how other staff worked with their clients while I was going through my sessions, I highly recommend you to visit and work with any of the staff. Best of luck. I have only the most positive things to say about PT Mano and his team at Ability Rehab. From the thorough health history he took at our very first visit, to his focused and competent approach at every subsequent visit, I always felt supported and knew I was in good hands with Mano. My ankle injury required pre- and post- op treatment, and I was pleased with the improvement and progress that was made due to team at Ability Rehab’s excellent care and treatment plans. I have had several less serious injuries in the years since then, and have always experienced improvement after seeing Mano. I enjoyed working with Matt for both my frozen shoulder and post-op knee rehab. He explains everything well and challenged me to do my best. Peggy is very helpful as well. Everyone there is very friendly. I will definitely go back after my other knee replacement is done.
