I am very grateful to have found Dr. Perry. Her expertise with hypermobility, knowledge of the nervous system and physical therapies have helped my daughter immensely. When we first started seeing Dr. Perry, my daughter was experiencing pain as well as wide range of symptoms. With each visit her symptoms and pain improved. Dr. Perry listens and addresses concerns at each visit as well as provides information to help improve symptoms at home. After seeing many other PT’s, we are thankful to have found one who takes the time create a thoughtful and effective treatment plan.

I went to see Dr. Michelle after experiencing some lower back and hip issues before a weightlifting competition. She was incredibly professional and knowledgeable about what was going on with me after my assessment. After helping resolve my problems she provided me with drills and exercises to help limit future troubles. I not only had a great competition, had PRs on both my lifts, I have had great training sessions since without limitations!

After 2 spinal surgeries in the span of 12 months, I’d lost hope to regain strength and mobility. Dr. Michelle attentively listens and responds with a routine that brings relief of pain. After one session I was able to walk up and down stairs without pain. Here I am at week 20 post surgery and am able to lift kettlebells, dumbbells, and walk through the woods again. Without her expertise and care, I’m certain I’d still be taking the elevator to my office. Thank you for helping me recover and regain health! Here’s to another 20 weeks of increased activity, strength and feeling in my hands. Dr. Michelle, you are truly a blessing!

I first came to abide after going through two stints of disablity at work. I have Ellers Danlos and require a very personalized variety of physical therapy and other techniques such as cupping and nerve manipulations. after I tried corporate physical therapy at various different places they could never focus on more than one body part at a time and they rushed me into standard cookie cutter exercises which lead me to get more injured. Michele from Abide, took the time to listen to my needs and past experience and did not assign a standar PT plan for me. When I first saw her I could barely walk or sit. I had to be in bed almost all day. it took several months to be able to work again but I did see consistent progress after I started my PT with her. i have had to go to many different places to get all the variety of care I need but Michele can do it all. Abide has truly been life-changing for me. Thank you Michele!

Dr. Michelle was awesome! I went in to see her because I was having severe lower back pain and I could hardly stand up straight. After two days of my back hurting I called her and she was able to see me really fast. Once she started working with me, I really appreciated how detail-oriented she was. She’s not a “same treatment for everyone” person. She made a treatment plan specifically for me which included a variety of stretches, cupping, and dry needling. Each time I went in to see her I improved more and more. Now the pain is totally gone from my back and I can get back to being active. I HIGHLY recommend contacting Dr. Michelle if you are in need of physical therapy. She is super friendly and she genuinely wants to help you get better. You are going to get top notch care and not spend a ton of money compared to other facilities.

Michelle and Abide Therapy take genuine care in helping their patients find solutions. Following 6-9 months of nagging pain in my wrist, I began treatment with Abide. Michelle provided ongoing treatment to help reduce the pain and inflammation my wrist. Given the amount of time that passed without substantial improvement, Michelle suggested imaging. Following an MRI, I learned I had ruptured my Scapholunate ligament. The orthopedic doctor did not provide an optimistic outlook. Michelle referred me to another wrist specialist she had worked with in the past for a second opinion (Dr. Madden at FitzMaurice Hand Institute). Although there was consensus, the ligament could not be reconstructed, Dr. Madden proved he would be able to remove a nerve in my wrist to alleviate the pain for years. I recently had the procedure and would like to thank Michelle at Abide for the referral! Michelle followed up with me for several months to ensure I was having a good experience. I truly value Michelle’s genuine care and expertise.

Dr. Michelle is incredible! I went in to see her because I was having pain in my upper back and neck. She took the time to listen and then began to put together a treatment plan which included a variety of stretches and exercises to strengthen the specific places where I was experiencing pain. She has a wealth of knowledge and went above and beyond to help me out. After seeing her I was finally able to workout again and lift weights without experiencing pain. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Michelle for any of your physical therapy needs!

Dr. Michelle is hand's down the best! I've referred her to both of my foot doctors to recommend her as well to their patients for PT. I had 10 years of issues with my left foot/ankle tendon and nerve pain. I finally found the right specialist to do the surgery, but post-surgery was not healing up as well as I hoped. I started seeing Michelle weekly and my foot started progressing faster and better than I ever thought would be possible! What I loved about Michelle's approach was the whole body. She didn't just do ankle exercises like other PT's would have, she looked at how the mechanics connect and built up my foot while working on calves, knees, hips; all the way up! She worked on core muscles to support, all of it! I not only did my foot get better, but I ended up in the best shape I had been in 10 years due to limited activity because of my previous foot pain. I never thought I'd hike again and I've been back up on mountains because of her. She is super knowledgeable, and motivated to continue learning, helpful, and encouraging. With Dr. Michelle, you aren't just in good hands, you are in the best hands! Hahaha as cheesy as that sounds.
