ABC is a blessing every week, for myself and my son Logan who has Down Syndrome. ABC means to me: A chieving what I thought was the impossible for Logan. B elieving in Logan by giving him the correct tools and training for success. C aring & compassionate therapists, like Heidi his OT and Sydney his Speech Therapist, who take the extra step every week to go above and beyond in helping Logan first of all overcome his stubbornness to accept the help he needs, physical and mental challenges he faces, fears and frustrations in achieving his goals. My son Logan is work in progress, but if you only knew how far he has come !!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You So Much ABC Logan and Lynn Cox

We absolutely love ABC! Both of our kids have benefited from the therapists there for OT and PT. Ms. Sarah has seen our daughter for years now, and the kindness and patience she has shown is incredible. Ms. Sarah is constantly coming up with new ideas and resources for our child. I feel comfortable knowing that we are benefiting from the personalized care that comes from a private therapy facility. The progress we have seen isn't the only reason we keep with it, we never feel like just an appointment here, from the front desk staff, to the administrative staff and the therapists, they are really like one big family and we appreciate every single person that makes a hard thing, easier. ABC has also helped us to find alternative funding sources when our insurance maxes out each year, which makes it easier to coordinate her care without worrying. I would definitely recommend ABC.

I have had nothing but great experiences at ABC therapy. The staff there is absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful with questions. They helped me get my two kids appointments at the same time to help save me trips and are always willing to help me anytime I need it. They are super fast to answer questions through email and keep me updated with my insurance and help me grow services as well as grant services. I feel like they always have their patients first in mind and that is hard to find at places and its especially nice to have when you have children with special needs. The therapists there are superb as well. They have helped both my kids come out of their shells and improve on skills to help stay in line with kids their own age. This is only my opinion of the West Chester location as I have not visited the other locations.

We have had nothing but a complete headache dealing with the billing department. We have asked for an itemized statement for 3 months and have yet to receive it. Someone called us back again today and when we asked to speak to a supervisor she hung up on us. It has that we haven’t paid for about bi weekly visits over about a three months span when we know for sure and have receipts for each visit. Why are we still having to deal with this. It’s insane. The therapists are okay but I definitely don’t recommend just because of the billing department.

Our experience with ABC has been great. Having a special needs child is hard and the help and experience of the staff here is just phenomenal. My child has made serious strides in his development. We were in search of answers and help and we got that AND more. My child has multiple areas of need, some of which insurance would not cover. The billing department noticed the denial of coverage and quickly discounted our rate. We were then delighted to hear of a grant that would assist us in funding our child's care at ABC. It's not just the therapists helping your children, it's also those in Billing. Highly recommend utilizing their excellent services.

We’ve only started going here 2 weeks ago, and it has been great so far!! The front desk staff is very nice, and welcoming. The therapists are great with the kids; they’re very patient!! I have learned so much already, and have gotten so many resources to take advantage of! Definitely recommend!!

I’ve been going here for 3 years and the staff is incredible. My son went from completely non verbal to speaking in sentences and reading. We struggled with transitions and tantrums and now he is able to transition with ease and is becoming self sufficient! Abbie and Natalie have been amazing as well as all the other therapists who have seen my son. I always recommend ABC to anyone looking into therapy for their kids!

Two of our sons received speech therapy here. Our oldest son had a relatively minor articulation disorder and after a year with the same therapist there was much improvement. However the experience for our four-year-old son has been much different and very frustrating. There is a high rate of staff turnover so he saw four or five therapists over the course of a year, and he spent that whole year working on the "k" sound, with no progress. Each time a therapist left it was like starting over. I switched to a more experienced therapist who has her own in-home practice. In the first session she had him saying "k." There has been more progress in a few weeks than we had in a year at ABC Pediatrics. She also educates me as the parent in how to work with him at home and gives us fun homework. At ABC there was very little time for parent education and no homework given. This is not the therapists' fault--they are overworked and their schedules are packed back to back so there's not much time to talk with the parents. Also, I now know that my son has a severe and complex phonological disorder, which needs much more intense therapy than the 20 minutes a week he was getting at ABC. But for the whole year we were there no one let me know that or gave me any sense of the reality of what we were dealing with. If you have a child with complex needs, look elsewhere for therapy. I've since learned that ABC has the reputation of being a starter place for therapists, which explains the turnover. It's frustrating because I am now faced with a bill for care that was sub-par and unhelpful.
