A is for Apple

Enrolling your child at a is for absent therapist is the worst decision you can make. This has to be the worst program for children with ASD in the Bay Area that exists. No accountability, clueless therapists and condescending management, Sabrina does not care about your child just the money they can make off your child. If you think they’ll care about your child’s progress it’s all a front. My daughter did not learn anything from this company and the therapist call out everyday, the same day, management does not care. RUN.

I wish I could give less stars. If you want inconsistency and constant turn overs choose A is for Apple. If you want your child to be constantly violated through HIPPAA and gossipping then this is the place for you. If you're a good parent who loves their child RUN. If you're looking for decent ASD help with ABA OT or ST RUN. Dont waste your time or expose your child take it from me

I am surprised to see low star reviews for this center when I have been with this provider for about 4 years now. We got ABA for my son here for a year and Speech and OT for 3 years. So far I am happy with the services they provided. There was a point that there were rough times in availability during management transitions and change of personnel, but now they are back to smooth scheduling and services. I have always liked the Speech and Occupational therapists assigned to my son for the past 3 years. He had good improvements from his sessions here. I also like their speech and OT rooms. I’ve been to other centers before and this center is one of the nicest.

The facility is super nice and friendly but their billing/ financial dept is a mess. I submit insurance and they said it is all covered by insurance but then after half a year I get a $1500 bill since insurance only cover 20% …

A IS FOR APPLE is NOT Kaiser & Easter Seals approved provider for a good reason. If you’re looking for substandard ABA service for your child then A IS FOR APPLE is second to none. High staff turnover, inadequate staffing, poorly trained therapist, too many cancellations, & No call/No shows is the norm. CEO/Owner Marylin is utterly incompetent, micromanager, reactionary, difficult, shortsighted, terrible listener & morally unethical. Her only goal is to expand her business & make as much money as possible while providing substantially inferior ABA services. As a result highly qualified staff members were forced to quit & the quality of service has deteriorated tremendously. Terminated the service & found another provider.

Unprofessional and ridiculous policies. They have you sign a form saying you cannot bring your child sick understandable right? But then they have you sign another form saying if you cancel the same day you will be charged! How does that make sense???? How can a parent read the future?? That was just the tip of the iceberg. Parents don't waste your time oh and parking is horrible.

OT here is amazing, the therapists are so nice and helpful. I love this place for my son and still waiting for speech but I'm happy that we're here.

Worst experience ever my son didn’t learn anything in the 2 years he was with a Is for apple and they continue to switch the people they never get to work they just came t my house to seat in the couch on their phones as if they are just babysitting they are so unprofessional and worst company I ever been to. Don’t waist your time and money .
